Jersey Mikes makes the best sub aside from the real deal italian delis that actually know how to do it. And those places have multiple different variations of prosciutto and the hot and sweet cappa. Mortadella. etc. Certain stuff ya can't get at JMikes.
From a consistency standpoint, and if you don't have a nearby reliable Italian place, you cannot go wrong there. If you go on Mondays you get double rewards points. They add up.
#43 is a great sandwich. Chipotle Cheesesteak. Pro-tip: Tell them to put the chipotle sauce on both sides of the bread. Also #5 and #9, as well as the roast beef which they make on site, bread too is made there.
Very expensive to franchise a JMikes. I was amazed how much they wanted. Was looking into it once, and if I could have found a better location we may have actually done it. But man was it expensive.
As far as moving to vegas.......if you are doing it for sports betting purposes I really don't get it, but if you also play poker, you may have reasoning to do it. If you are good enough at poker and can be disciplined enough to leave the table when you are up.......you can make a living like that. Maybe the guy just wants a scenic change. Seems like nothing holding ya down. Good luck to ya. Most people don't have the balls to make large life changes. I would hardly consider the opinions of people on Covers when considering your own life.
I have a good friend left and went to Vegas, real grinder poker player. He found some typical tourist heavy game times at certain casinos and made friends with some dealers........you can be tipped off to some fishy games if you know the right people...........good luck man.
