had won 9 of the past 11 plays I "officialy" posted on here (not to mention ive gone 10-0 on the plays which i've posted or hinted at, but not included in my record) from Robin HOOD
This is all I need to quote straight from RH; when people say stuff like this I would ratther close my eyes and just pick games than take it from something like this; he says he was 10-0 on picks he didnt officically hit or hinted at; man that is TOTAL GARBAGE. THIS IS THE STUFF that makes this guy so full of it; if you guys are dumb enough to even think about making one play on what he says. You desever what you get. This tout is the worst of the worst. The number one thing I hate the most is well I was 10-0 on picks I didnt Post give me a BREAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAK. You are so full of it. If you are so confident than take my plays against yours.

Well this weekend put a strong hault to the five game winning streak going 5-0 during the week but 0-2 this weekend. Let's start off this new week strong tomorrow with Minnesota. Goodluck guys.
Robin Hoods Posting Record: 10-6 +9.38 units (63%) [R.O.I: 21%]
Every wager is to win 2.5 units: which is equal to 2.5% of my starting bankroll.
Monday October 11th, 2010:
Minnesota Vikings +3.5 -110 (NFL)

Handicapper33 i'll shut you up by winning more than I lose don't need to stoop to your level and compete in a stupid handicapping contest (where our rules aren't even the same haha). I'm about winning for the masses, not competing against jackasses. I posted this in the football section a few minutes ago but i'll re-post it in here because thanks to H33 this thread has been filled with lots of garbage.
I handicapped this Denver game to be a tight-low scoring game with plenty of fieldgoals; and with touchdowns far and between. The game didn't play out that way with Baltimore scoring a touchdown in the first minute which I believe changed the speed of the game; ultimately affecting the outcome.
I still love Minnesota to win SU tomorrow and get our week started on the right path.
Thanks for the great posts Neo The One and Shirley_Jester. I wan't it to be well known that I am no different than any of you. I am human. I don't expect myself to win 80% of my bets and neither should any of you expect that from me or from yourself. I decided from an early age that I wanted to be a professional handicapper. Whether or not I really decided that is up for debate, as I still believe the addiction of gambling remains the reason why my life path has taken me to this point, but regardless anybody can accomplish what I have accomplished if they really put their mind, heart and soul into it. You need to have passion about your career and look forward to waking up and doing your job, otherwise you're not going to enjoy it. Do I reccomend anybody take the same path that I took through life, probably not but if it's what your heart, soul and mind is telling you to do; well then go for it. Would a professional actor tell kids to follow the path that they took? No, likely not, because I strongly believe nobody is truly conent with their life and the choices they make until death is close.
To live off of your own handicapping, you need experience (years of learning he ins and outs, what to do and what not to do .. but more importantly you need those years to kick the addiction of gambling. Eventually gambling becomes so tiresome, stressful, brain racking and uncertain, that people almost always hit rock bottom in their life before they realise that gambling is not right for them. Luckily the ones who don't have addictive personalities are able to control the amount of games they bet and how much they can afford to bet on games, but unfortunately 80% of people who start gambling are in it for the money (not the bonus entertainment) so when they lose it effects the way they think and live.
So, unfortunately, most people must first hit rock bottom before they realise discipline, money management and patience. I look at an entire week the same way as I once looked at an entire day. Guys, unfortunately because of my addiction and the career path that I took, I don't have a wife or kids; so spending time with them is not the issue, but I do like spending a couple weeks with my blood family every year and I try to take my parents on a yearly vacation. I do hope and plan to have a wife and children, but in our society most people still frown upon gambling and so when I tell women that I bet on sports for a living, I get mixed reactions.
Anyways, my point is that: if you are gambling for entertainment purposes than bet what you can afford and always assume that you're going to lose your money (so that it doesn't hurt as bad when you do). You do not need to use the one play per day method, whatever works for you. Once you've placed your wagers for the day, stop looking at other games; enjoy the free time in your day and enjoy watching the game at night. If you make some money off betting then every other week or every month (whatever you wan't) take the money out of your account go to a game, buy your wife something nice etc. So that it feels like the time spent gambling is worth it to you and your wife, and so she doesn't feel unwanted or less important to you. Woman love feeling needed and important and frankly; and gambling can take that feeling your girlfriend/wife once had, away.
If you're gambling to make money, or to live off your wagers, then you need to know the following things.
1) You don't NEED to bet one play per day, but it is essential you make less than ten bets per week (never risking more than 25% of your starting bankroll in any given week). Make your wagers, don't second-guess yourself and aim to win between 55% and 60% of your wagers. You will slowly, but surely build your bankroll to whatever your goals are. So it is important you bet 10 plays or less per week and also important that you risk 3% of your bankroll or less on all the wagers.
2) ALWAYS FLAT BET. At the beginning of every year pick how much you wan't to win each game and always bet to win the same amount. It is much easier to win 55-60% of your games over the course of a year then to predict which games are better than others over the course of a year when the future games have yet to be played (if that makes sense).
2) Remember that you should not make your wagers if you are emotionally unstable. If you just had a big win, just had a bad beat loss, your girlfriend just broke-up with you, you are drunk or under the influence of drugs etc. you shouldn't be looking at games and you shouldn't be making bets. You need to look at every game as if it is no more important or less important than any other game you bet all year, and so you must be emotionally stable; and understand this. That is why I like to look at a few days in advance make my wagers and start looking at the next few days before these games even start. Before I start looking at games I listen to a favorite song.
If you understand these three rules then you are on your way to making money longterm off sportsgambling. If you are just in it for fun, then have fun and be sure to reward yourself when you have big wins (like I stated earlier).
I hope this clears a few things up. Goodluck guys.

I don't understand what the big deal is? Did this H33 get burnt by some tout service or what? Is there much difference between giving out picks and telling people not to follow someone's picks? Unlike me, some people do not have the time to study the various games during the course of a week, and still would like to bet games. Why would you bash someone who is willing to put in the time to find a pick they believe is a solid pick and give it out for free? Personally, I would guess that this H33 is just jealous that he does not or cannot have the same success as RH and chooses to bash him. I also think that it is a good idea to have H33 post his own plays and see how he does if he is so good. Put them in your own thread or put them in here and we will track you against RH. Just make one play per day over any sport you want, and every once in a while you can take a day off for lack of any good games. Finally, let people do what they want with their money, it's not like RH is telling us to bet his games.
P.S. I appreciate the picks RH, I do not play them all, but you have made me money the last week and a half. I do my own handicapping (because that is what makes betting on games that much more fun for me), I make my own picks, then check to see if we are on the same side, or different sides. I actually felt good that I went against you in the Ball St. pick, but I did like Baltimore today and when I saw that you were on Den I took out my Bal pick and changed it to a Den 7 point teaser (which was a push). I am tracking all of your picks in a spreadsheet just to see how you do over the course of time, I have also been tracking the Cover's Expert free picks. I should say that if H33 should be bashing anybody, he should be basking those experts who are touts and for the most part are not very good with their free picks.
Sorry for the rant. GL
