The amount of $$$ you supposedly bet is entirely up to you.
That is your "betting strategy" It is not your handicapping skill!
The wins/losses record is the prime indicator of handicapping skill.
The cash you "allege" to bet has nothing to do with it.
UNITS are merely a reflection of your cash bet relative to your usual bet amount.
So, likewise per the aforementioned example,
if YOU post a pick like, Steelers -2.5 +100 for 1 unit
The pick wins. Your record is 1-0 +1.0 unit
Now suppose I post the same pick at the same line as YOU,
but I declare that my identical pick was for 2 units.
Does my "higher units result" from betting on that same single pick mean my skill at picking winners is BETTER THAN YOURS???
Once again, no! OF COURSE NOT!

Curious back story to this weekend. Two other members had posted an open invite to other covers forum members to join them for fun and handicapping in Las Vegas for divisionals weekend. They announced they would be staying at the Bellagio and most likely spending much of their time during games at the MGM or Caesars. (I couldn't make it myself) For some weird reason the pretend-bettor-fraud trolled one of them over to another forum and boasted that he too would be in Vegas for the divisionals, and he too would be staying at the Bellagio, and if those guys wanted to join up with an actual GOOD handicapper (himself) and learn how it's done then they should contact him and he would allow them to kneel before him and kiss his ring (or something to that effect as I am paraphrasing)
But guess what the fraud posted here on divisionals Saturday?
