Jags hire Doug Pederson
Read a tweet that perfectly summed up the process and the end result.
"I feel like I've watched a game in which the Jaguars committed 5 turnovers, 13 penalties, and somehow won at the end."

The Minnesota Vikings are expected to hire Rams offensive coordinator Kevin O'Connell as their next head coach. The deal for O'Connell, who succeeds Mike Zimmer, cannot be finalized until after Super Bowl LVI on Feb. 13.

Dolphins new HC Mike McDaniel ...
I'm torn between really liking this guy, and slapping the smugness outta him.
As a first time HC, I sense this will NOT be a modest success or limited failure.
He will either be the next Vince Lombardi, or the next Hue Jackson.
He will be the best thing since penicillin, or the worst thing since AIDS.
He will be the best thing since 60/70's music, or the worst thing since 80/90's music.
He will be the best thing since cell phones, or the worst thing since cell phones.
He will be the best thing since Cranky Hank, or the worst thing since bigred

@Hugh_Jorgan
No one can crap on 80's music. Shall we begin with the birth of Metal, Hip Hop, House, Punk, Garage, Electro, New Wave, and finish with the death of Disco.
No era has spawned more types of music than the 80's did, and no era ever will.

Which begs the question : Why even fire David Culley to begin with? To call this a lateral move for the Texans would be over selling it.

Sac, I second the notion that a short time period from the late 70's into the early 80's was the most diverse musical era of all time.

RHCP's first single from their upcoming "album" (or whatever they're called now) is totally on point for that band. Frusciante's return can't be under stated. He just nails it again.

Musically, the Peppers are ridiculously good. I've never been gun ho about them, but they have my respect 100%.
I believe that their first album was possibly late 80's ish, maybe 1990. 32+ years being a band. Incredible.
-Probably my favorite song by them^
-Blood Sugar Sex Magic is one of those albums that you let play through from beginning to end, every time.
-Dave Navarro was the best interm guitarist ever
-Flea is the best nickname ever

Excellent choice of songs. At the risk of turning the thread into a music video performance, I leave you with Scar Tissue from Slane Castle. Frusciante's guitar licks are other worldly.

The 80's were the springtime of my life. If a young lady wanted to listen to The Cars, The Go-Go's, or Madonna I was down with that. The Who never quite set the mood on a Friday night.
