Wallsteetcappers, thanks for the chance to discuss this. I did read the post you pointed me to. I suppose it could be looked at as a mild dig. But, as we discussed in an earlier thread, I was "feelin' no pain" after the game. I had tried to encourage several people to take it easy on this game and not bet the farm, as it were. Bator had, as he has himself admitted, led people over the cliff. Myself included, to a small degree. I had seriously considered a Giants ML bet, but his confidence in the Pats made me sit on my wallet.
Looking over his Super Bowl prop list, all I could see was devastation--an Apocalyptic bonfire of cash. So, I posted, "the horror, the horror."
After I read his note of apology a few days later, I felt bad about it. I even posted a note to him here in the box, as it was the only place where I could post.
So, I have learned a lesson. I enjoy being on Covers. I had a great deal of fun this season.
If and when you let me out, I GUARANTEE that I'll be very, very not to ever repeat that mistake.
Again, thanks for your consideration.
