Like, legit, just saw a guy post something like:
My record is 59-62 for 2017, here are my predictions:
And some cuck said "BOL "
But really, who in their right mind would tail if you have nothing to show for it?
I wouldn’t bash those people because any information can be utilized to turn a profit.
In a perfect world we would have everyone posting everypick that they have bet on. However, we know that a lot of people here just post picks w/o putting their own $$$ on the line. Or they only post some of the plays they make. Or they’re like Weeble and post everything they have an inkling about.
Any of these can be useful in the right hands.
What I would prefer would be someone who posts every play they actually put $$$ on, even when the losing streaks are happening. It gives a great view of how a season’s worth of betting works. You can see them lose 7 in a row and then bank on (as long as they are competent) their next 7 games will probably run at 57% or better (4-3).
Also, people who post a 23-25 (-6 unit) record are at least posting their record. I’d much prefer that when compared to someone who just posts (POD DIAMONDBACKS HUUUUUUGE) all the time.
I have 300 some posts over 9 years and when I post I think it’s worth following. You just won’t see me every day. I would put more value in my plays versus someone who posts 30 plays a day.
But I don’t think I’d put more value in the 30 plays a day, break-even person versus someone who posts 3 plays a day and shows a losing record. I think I’d actually prefer the losing record player.
I think there is just too much to piece through when someone posts that many plays.
With all that being said, I don’t follow this forum daily so I don’t mean to specifically call out Weeble. I just don’t know enough about everyone to have an opinion. But I do recognize some names and Weeble is one of them. Not trying to bash him, just saying that many plays is difficult to piece through. That’s all.
