Why is the Under Juiced up ? 9 (-120 ) I might take a shot at the Over..
Holy shit, you don't say?
Actually, no, it's not perplexing at all, his postseason number are: .199 with 42 hits, 15 home runs, 31 RBIs and 35 runs scored in 55 games. So by that token, he is just slightly underperforming, this postseason, bating just .150... the thing with him is that you can see when he is struggling, he loses his plate discipline and begins to chase pitches, he can't hit anything away and down, and that's where they pitch him, when he struggles. Also, if he couldn't elevate anything in the LA warm weather, I highly doubt he will be able to do it, in a chilly NY night.
This game is do or die, for the Yankees, 0-3 is insurmountable, luckily for them Buehler is hittable, unless they go again 1 for 8 with RISP. Another aspect why this game is vital, the Dodgers will most likely have a bullpen game in game 4, so if you manage to knock out Buehler early, maybe you force them to use some of their relievers.
I'm not optimistic, at all, my fear is that this series was decided in the bottom of the 10th in game 1, when Boone(head) decided to put Nestor on instead of Hill, he may have gambled the WS with that decision. This is not hindsight bullshit, because Hill had looked strong, throughout the whole postseason, yet they went to Nestor who hadn't pitched in over 40 days...

Well aware. Perplexed why he can't perform in the big moments. He needs a shot of Blg Game Viagra

Forgot to make the obvious joke above: Aaron Judge is the Clayton Kershaw of hitting.
He eventually got his WS*, * - albeit after a shortened season, so Judge still has a couple more season to try and figure it out, in the postseason.

That pitching move made me instantly flash back to around 2016 when Buck Showwalter left Zack Britton on the bench in extra innings the same Britton who was closer of the year, and of course the Blue Jays sent us packing in the bottom of the inning.

Eh Th-Th-Th-Th-Th-Th-Th-“That's all Folks!”
The series was over on Friday night, once that grand slam ball landed in the stands. To say this series was disappointing, would be an understatement, as a Yankees fan, because they didn't put up much of a fight.
I dunno where you go from here, but signing Soto looks unlikely, I mean he seem to fit in the team and all, it's just that Judge is useless in the postseason. I'm not gonna slander the guy, he is probably hard enough on himself already + there are enough people who will shit on him, once the series is over, which as far as I'm concerned is a needless exercise.

Good thread, thanks Johnny.
Too bad that this WS is complete garbage. Game 1 was awesome then it became a snoozer.
Kudos to Mark Prior, the Dodgers pitching coach. They are punking most of the Yankees hitters.
True story, I saw Mark Prior's first ever spring training start in Tempe Arizona. Me and my buddies had about 7 to 8 16oz beers, then decided to go to Nogales Mexico. We saw a real life jizz mopper at a strip club. There was also a car full of gang bangers with huge knives that looked like trouble. Then a handful of other events I can't mention here. We stumbled across the border back to the USA at about 4:30 am, I think.

I have a deep rooted disdain for the Yanks ( R.Sox also for that matter) but Judge by all accounts seems to me to be a good guy and I kinda feel for him. The fact of the matter is that all hitter go thru slumps and he just happens to be going thru one and the timing could not be worse.

Yo, I will not stand for any Tool slandering, they fucking rock! He will be a FA after this series, no way the Yankees re-sign him, so good riddance.
Yankees fans after the Dodgers win tonight:

C'mon man, all the Yankees did was delay the inevitable, and in that regard they might also do it for another game, tonight.
Besides that, the only thing a win tonight will achieve is this: sparing the home crowd from seeing the opposing team, receive their World Series trophy.
