nice thread- made me laugh but bringing that kind of attention to yourself just leads to trouble- i had the Jets today but i suspect they get spanked by the Colts by 10+ points next week

i appreciate the hospitality, but i won't flame you... these boards are fun and meaningful for discussion before the games, but after the game is over i generally forget about them altogether and move on to the next game...
if you win you win, if you lose you lose...

Dude - you should be apologizing less, and you should have kept your mouth shut more.
If they played 10 times, the Bengals MIGHT still win 9 of those.
Where you went wrong is you put all your eggs in one basket which is ONE GAME (way to short of a sample size for variance to be removed). Maybe your capping was perfect. Maybe everythying you said in the first several posts was right.
The problem is that even though you might be 100% right, the variance on a single football game is WAY TOO HIGH to ever apologize for, or hype the way you did.
Altough I disagree since the beginning with your pick, I think you did a really good job scalabrine, you sell your pick in a great way (and by sell I mean that you convinced a lot of people) and also there´s someones that still believes in the pick, this guy still thinks that the bengals QB is Peyton Manning...dont want to criticize Vanzack but how do you say that????wow definitely it was a great writeup!

i will never call myself a great capper...if i get to good ill be satisfied...and yes, i exposed myself here...but public plays are sometimes the right plays obviously..this wasn't (plus i was fading the entire state of NJ which was all that matters to me)

Like my dear bro-in-law says; You should ALWAYS bet on teams you are PULLING FOR not teams you are AGAINST. Pick a team you want to succeed not one to fail.
I can relate to your argument of knowing a team so well you know how the game will turn out. REX RYAN looks like an ass like his dad, but DAD was a good coach. Kind of like Mike Leach.Cocky, brash. Abrasive. Very unlikeable But those RYANS can coach some DEFENSE. Plus the way they know how to utilize Brad Smith. He is a BIG reason for Jets success
I've seen some of your NBA posts and will follow looking for some SURE things. Plus, next week those JETS get cooked in INDY especially after Colts pulled starters backlash kicks in. GL
