For being too honest, Pence is condemned for standing up for rule of law by Trump supporters. In fascist cult, GOP candidates aren't supposed to challenge leader on almost anything especially his alleged crimes. However they are supposed to ignore evidences and defend him against legitimate indictments. Pretending to be a victim or martyr, Trump falsely claims that when he is attacked, US is attacked too? Actually, he is the author of his own misfortunes.

Can enlighten me why are Trump’s lawyers still blathering on about “free speech this,first amendment that…” It was made crystal clear in the indictment that Trump was free to say whatever bullshit lies he wanted about the election… The case is not about that, it’s about the actions he took to get false electors in place to circumvent the election results. Results that court after court after court had said were correct.

Those guys talk less in this forum than a nun at a pimp convention . They make less of an attempt at communication or to get your attention than the guy walking behind you does when you drop a 50 dollar bill from your back pocket after you scratch your ass . Federal prosecutors who’ve brought the 2020 election
interference criminal case against Donald Trump are
seeking to start to the trial on January 2, 2024.
The special counsel’s office said in a filing Thursday
that its presentation of evidence in the trial would take
“no longer than four to six weeks.”
“A January 2 trial date would vindicate the public’s
strong interest in a speedy trial – an interest guaranteed
by the Constitution and federal law in all cases, but of
particular significance here, where the defendant, a
former president, is charged with conspiring to overturn
the legitimate results of the 2020 presidential election,
obstruct the certification of the election results, and
discount citizens’ legitimate votes,” prosecutors wrote.
Trump's team will file numerous motions to argue for a lengthy and totally unnecessary delay.
In his first post on the social platform Truth Social,
Trump had attacked DA Fanni Willis as "phoney" and had argued he "didn't tamper with the election," 
while reiterating his false claim that the 2020 election was "rigged & stolen."
In a second post, Trump argued
Willis is ignoring evidence of others who have "committed this crime,"
claiming she "only wants to 'get Trump.'"
He added he "would be happy" to present evidence to the grand jury.
