Deaths, which are horrible, and almost outnumber any two other nations combined on the planet,

are only one metric.   Suffering with covid, even if they survive is the other.  And there are no

stats on these.  Many people suffer a very bad flu at home, and then have lingering after effects

which may well be with them the rest of their lives.  But they survived death.
