I guess you don't understand how these things work. Obviously, Mueller wants as much damning, conclusive & incriminating info and testiomony as he can possibly get before going after a potus with his protections & presidential powers. He's on track to doing that & the train has picked up steam. Where anyone gets the idea that because no charges or anything has been brought vs DT to date, it means anything in regard to what Mueller already has & will get going forward is beyond me. It's a complex investigation with lots of layers, folks & tentacles involved. There's no telling what all will shake out but wouldn't be surprised if obstruction, abuse of power, money laundering, conspiracy, & tax fraud/evasion all come into play at some point. And with a guy like Trump, he's likely to perjure himself as well.

President Trump like President Nixon was hated by the media ,,, but Nixon won re-election as POTUS in a landslide victory rivaling the greatest of American political history...... taking 60.7% of the popular vote and carrying 49 states..

Nixon campaigned on a platform designed to reach the “silent majority” of middle class and working class Americans.....Sound familiar ?

So,unless the Democrats can come up with someone to get their party excited and that has a vision other than to just criticize the President..they are dissented to lose in a landslide in 2020 .

PS. The way it's going .....Mueller will probably still conducting his investigation well into President Trumps second term.....  ROLF!

Then what? Not sure what you mean. It'll be what it'll be. Are you saying like Trump does repeatedly that it has been an unwarranted witch hunt? Shouldn't even be a right/left thing. As a citizen, do you not want to know what the conclusion of the investigation brings? Or do you not care if Trump may have been leveraged & compromised by a foreign country & adversary after it's been shown indisputably they attacked our election & democracy & will almost certainly continue.

As long as the Clintons get investigated to the same degree Trump is I have no problem with it.  Do you have an issue with the $145M donation to the "Foundation" at the same time Uranium One's sale went through? If it was Trump instead of the Clintons that did that what you say? I wonder how much the "Foundation" has taken in since her heartbreaking defeat in 2016?

The collusion hoax the Dems and the media have latched onto is merely to keep a cloud over Trump for as long as possible. That's it.

To return to the original topic; None of us knows what Trump will do in 2020. That decision is two years away because a lot can change in two years. His campaign war treasury chest doesn’t matter if he is A) dead B) incapacitated C) so out of favor a run would be ridiculous. The 2018 elections will have an impact that is yet unknown, and either he or the country may feel quite differently about him in two years. As a subject of debate, the point is worthless. If you asked Lyndon Johnson in '66 if he was running in '68 the answer probably would have been yes.

Disclaimer: I am an independent that voted for Trump. Do not badger me with Democrat, liberal, Barack and Hillary fan, or any other label of your choice. Having voted, my mind has returned to independent and I now judge actions and results. There is no “my guy won/lost” or lifelong one-party partisan affiliation involved in any of it. If your mind is sold on one person or one party, let me be.

As I've said before, I'm no fan of either Clinton & if the uranium deal is investigated & shown with evidence to be some kind of pay to play deal, then prosecution should follow. But that's a separate issue that doesn't come close to the magnitude of the Mueller investigation & the last I looked, neither Clinton has held public office for what..5/6 yrs? 

I'm a helluva lot more concerned with the current joke & fraud in office whose unstable temperament & lack of knowledge/understanding of issues puts our country in a perilous situation. Coupled with his outrageous ego & obvious far greater concern with his image/personal approval, he's an unfit danger. Hopefully, Mueller & his team is working OT these days...

Trump would be better suited in a prison play where his character is 1 of an old uncle who always has to be right & has general ideas of "how things should be" (some of which are semi-accurate) but no or only childlike knowledge or understanding of the real issues involved. And no desire or capability of trying to learn & understand. Because he's so smart & convinced he knows more than everyone. He's a dangerous joke/fraud of a potus...worst in our history.

Mueller and his team of 13 high priced lawyers are doing good...after 9 months they have indicted 13 Russian nationals, that Putin will not allow to be extradited...

If, I'm Mueller and his team....I would be milking this for all that it's worth...9 mths ..19 mths.... 29 mths .. just keep investigating..

Except in my scenario it's AG Sessions ( who is under a lot of pressure of late ) who breaks and resigns..allowing President Trump to appoint a New AG....who then fires Mueller and his team..and ends the investigation.........on to the next hill.

Yeah Slim..it's been awhile

If there's been no wrongdoing or collusion & if everything was done/said in the normal course of the requirements of the job/positions, why doesn't Trump, Manafort, Kushner, Bannon, Hicks, etc just go in & straightforwardly answer all the questions in order to put it all to bed as soon as possible? And not have it hang over his presidency driving him nuts day in & out. Guess we know the answer to that.

Well, it wouldn't end the investigation at all. And why would he do it when it would look even more incriminatiing in the eyes of congress & the country if he didn't have major things to hide? What is the hold Putin has over him? Laundered payoffs plus help with the election in exchange for no sanctions & free rein for Putin/Russia? 

Sessions was his boy from the beginning (only congressional supporter), but angered him so much by rightly recusing himself, he immediately made up the story about Obama tapping his phone in Trump tower. Just as he was praising & fine with Comey until he wouldn't lay off Flynn (as his job requires), then he had to go.

Some of you Trump lovers oughta just be honest & say, "I don't really give a garbage whether Putin has any leverage over Trump or not or how dishonest he is...I'm gonna blindly stay on the Trump train no matter what". You'd have more credibility.

We can agree,if President Trump tried to have Mueller fired right out ,,, the consequences could be dire. Although a newly appointed AG could find Mueller having a conflict of interest and fire him ..and replace him,,, in the investigation with a more tenable Special Counsel..

Also, when we talk about Obama wiretap/ tapping Trump's phone in Trump Tower,,  it applies to any surveillance in a general sense.   We do know that the U.S. government (during Obama's term) had wiretapped Trumps former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, and that it may have been in Manafort’s residence in Trump....

The FBI investigation began it's investigation of Manafort in 2014 and surveillance was extended at least into early 2017.

So,,it does raise the question of whether something Trump said was inadvertently picked up ,,as a part of the government’s surveillance on Manafort.  In fact James Clapper said it is "conceivable"  that something Trump said during a conversation with Manafort was picked up by intelligence officials.

Bye the by...Sessions was not candidate Trump's (only congressional supporter).. but he was the 1st. .Trump was endorsed by the Speaker's in both House's and a couple other Senators ,,along with over 30 House members..if that even matters ..
