It is not just that, actually. Some time back we had a sort of back and forth on man-made global warming. When I asked him specifically on a couple of points to explain the way the data is misconstrued and how that does not at least call in to question the Left's point, and at most invalidate it totally -- he vanished.
I specifically asked him since he mentioned man-made CO2 causing it -- why does the rise in CO2 follow the rise in temperatures, etc. He vanished and never replied back in the thread.
He has done this several times with me.
I can tell he has found an obscure study not many folks have heard of to support his point, but when I question that very study or its points -- he simply moves to a new subject.
So, what is the point in just saying some study of group says such and such -- if you do not want to discuss it.

I doubt it could be more than a campaign type interview where Trump just says his talking points. I think Baier does a good job but how much can Trump even say about his legal issues at this point.

I don't see it that way. Oh sure, the media and politicians played it that way. The Court did not ban abortion, they had finally had the nads to admit the Constitution did not provide that right and it was actually a bad precedent set by a previous court. They left it up to each state to decide. That is called DEMOCRACY. And several states put it on the ballot and THE PEOPLE decided. It wasn't and isn't the doomsday for women as advertised.
The leak and assualt on Justices homes only strengthens my resolve as leaning hard Republican. Just as I was embarrassed for those forcing their way into congress on Jan. 6th, could never see myself as supporting such third world tactics against Supreme Court Justices. Yet no one went to jail for that.
Republicans are falsely claiming a double standard of justice. They accuse Joe Biden of orchestrating a lenient penalty for Hunter while conducting a vendetta against Trump. There is no comparison in the two cases. Trump stole government property containing secrets about national security. Hunter was late in paying taxes and lied about drug use when buying a gun. Republicans try to make Hunter a political scapegoat but Hunter isn't his father.
In addition, no evidence that white house plays a role in interfering with justice. It is a credit to Joe Biden and proof of his commitment to the independence of justice department that he kept Trump's attorney Weiss on to investigate Hunter. Furthermore, attorney general Garland gave special counsel Smith independence in investigating Trump to ensure no political partisanship. Trump was indicted by a jury composed of ordinary people from Florida.

Well, thats a bit underwhelming, given the enormous amount of time given by the right wing media attention. But at least he’s guilty of something.The gun charge, in my opinion, deserves more consequences……..Let’s keep in mind that this is in fact a charge that is rarely brought. Hunter’s violation consists only of owning a gun while being an addict – not that he ever did anything illegal with the gun itself. And that could be a lot of people on a bad day.
I'm really on the edge of my chair waiting for those Joe Biden tapes the were kinda misplaced……It’s not like losing one’s keys or eye glasses!

If you think the ordinary citizen would not be charged, give it a try. I am sure they are working to try a plea. If it was a nothing burger I am pretty sure that is the definition of dismissing the charges.
So, I am pretty sure if you keep up with the news, a lot of folks are still talking about it. It does not mean it will be the number one story every day but it is still news.

Ok try this, instead of an everyday citizen. Name anyone in the limelight that has been charged, tried, convicted, or served time for similar charges as to those brought against Hunter Biden. Any celebrity, politician, athlete, entertainment, or relative of a government official. 2 misdemeanor charges for failing to file federal taxes and a felony gun possession charge with obviously no intent to use or it actually being used against or to threaten anyone.
