Maybe so. But when you get into a situation like this and it does not involve security -- it would be easy enough to supply it. It would then quelch it or support it.

However Trump defense failed to justify withholding of aid to Ukraine and he was impeached for abuse of power and obstruction of congress.
Maybe you should go back and read all of that again. You are simply repeating yourself with no evidence, while ignoring any evidence that might not support your narrative. Sticking to the same talking points without evidence does not make sense.

Congress had already been notified long before Biden's trip to Ukraine. Ukraine officials confirm US pressure was applied for several months in 2015 and 2016. Not just one day. Biden followed official US policy when he withheld loan guarantee to pressure Ukraine to remove Shokin for insufficient corruption prosecutions. Loan guarantee was contingent on Ukraine progress in corruption and economic reforms.
Government accountability office dismiss reasons for withholding aid from Office of management and budget Withholding aid for Trump policy reason violates Impoundment control act. Withholding aid is not a program delay. Bottom line is that illegal for Trump to withhold aid but legal for Biden to withhold loan guarantee.

That has some of the quotes and those are from the speech as well as the initial release, etc. I used in my reply to him but it is not the required document. That is not the document I am waiting for him to respond with about what is actually missing. Then I am waiting for him to respond with what is missing about what happened afterwards. There is not a supporting document for his argument or he would have supplied it by now.

Purpose of Biden impeachment inquiry isn't to discover the truth but rather to politically smear democrats. Republicans Buck, Joyce, Bacon and Capito say they have seen no evidence of wrongdoing to warrant inquiry. Trump admits Biden impeachment inquiry is motivated by revenge for his impeachment. It looks similar to Benghazi endless witch hunt. Despite years of investigations, republican committees found no evidence of wrongdoing by Obama administration officials.

If you search Congress.gov with keywords Ukraine Prosecutor General there is nothing prior to Shokin's firing. Appears Biden started it all in December, weeks after Hunter received email from Burisma wanting to stop all investigations. Biden then kept hyping it up and am sure he convinced some Senators that Shokin was now a problem. Little did the Senators know that Hunter was given direction by Burisma.
In my searches I find europeon articles that stated back in 2014-15 corruption was too soft of a word to describe Ukraine. And where was the VP's #1 son? Right smack dab in the middle of it, working for an exiled CEO.

Correct, it seems that way. After Biden did it, they had to back his play. If there was evidence to show that Biden was 'allowed' to do that beforehand, it would have been shown by now.
Shokin was always known to be a problem. If this was that big of a sticking point they should have called him out, directly, by name from the start. The corruption was (and still is) rampant in Ukraine. This, in particular, was addressed as needed reforms. Even the IMF had noted this.
By most indications, it looks as if the Burisma investigation had ended already, or at least was on pause. It was just another example of Biden being out-smarted, or maybe he was worried they would reopen the investigation.
What would Biden's plan have been if the next prosecutor reopened the investigation after they already had the additional funding.
Perhaps, Trump should have handled it differently at the time. I think he felt the people, and even a large portion of Democrats, would back him if he exposed potential 'bribery' or 'money-making scheming', etc. Maybe he could have tried to get a bipartisan commission to look into it.
But Trump continued to think there is some way he can win over support from Democrats for things like this -- he did the same thing with Clinton.
I think this is a mistake: Democrats do not abandon their candidates as easily as Republicans do; they tend to double-down on them.
