I'm ok with the pardon, really.  That power rests with that office.  Further, it's his son.  There is very few that wouldn't.

I am not OK with the lies from him and/or the binder and the gaslighting from that camp.  

But it's just more of why they got put out on their assess.  America is done with do as I say not as I do.

But wait until the J6'ers are free and Snowden comes home and all Trumps first termers are freed.

You should also familiarize yourselves with the factors that must be met to be considered for a pardon.

There is still some time left as President but Biden has issued the fewest pardons (26) than any other President besides Washington & Adams. Harrison & Garfield didn't get a chance to issue any pardons because they died in office. So far Joe throws pardons around like they are manhole covers.

Hunter has earned his father's pardon IMO so deal with it.

It's a proven fact that few if any are prosecuted for the same actions  as Hunter. You know that & I know that. People have been pardoned for much much worse. You can start with Kushner's daddy.

This is not about Hunter not earning a pardon....

It's about the President of the United States making a vow that he would NOT pardon Hunter..in fact three weeks ago his diminutive press secretary told the all the press that Biden would NOT pardon Hunter...

  I tend to agree with Slim in that the optics of the pardon actually looks worse than the offense. Look at the BS that NY prosecuted Trump for. The dems rallying cry was "no one is above the law"..........& then this happens. Pretty hypocritical.

 I doubt Biden cares at this point. He's already widely considered the worst potus ever, so this isn't gonna make that any worse.

I've got two thoughts about this. On the one hand, I don't give to shites about Joe Biden pardoning his kid. I get it. Most men would do the exact same thing, including most of guys here. He doesn't owe anything to the party. He has no incentive to help the party save face. Look out for your kid.

The other thought is how if the show was on the other foot, the media would be having a field day. Just in this forum, there would be three different threads, with none being boxed, with one turning into a three year thread. We'd hear about how Trump lies so much, and about the Trump crime family, or the Trump cartel. So Democrats have to take this L. It's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but it is bad optics.

In September, Hunter Biden pleaded guilty to all 9 federal tax charges he faced.....

Joe Biden has lied from start to finish about his family’s corrupt influence peddling activities. Not only has he falsely claimed that he never met with his son’s foreign business associates and that his son did nothing wrong, but he also lied when he said he would not pardon Hunter Biden.
