Two sharp contrast comparison of Covid-19 confirmed cases in USA vs Euope, US cases are spiking, unfortunately. How could this be “We did slow the spread. We did flatten the curve. We’re in a much better place.” by VP Pence.

Can somebody explain the following.  PGA tour player Cameron Champ tests positive for Covid 19. Cameron withdraws from The Travelers in Connecticut. He then tests negative on 3 consecutive tests.  Does he have the virus?

Seems to me there 'might' be a huge percentage of false positives in order to drive everybody to their basement.

Better late than never sundance, in finally recognizing the reality behind the fraudulent testing. This will probably become a common occurrence once MLB & NBA resumes. I can only hope that some of the players will step up and call them out on this obvious BS, because we're all being played.

    Relax. I'm unvaxxed!

We are living in a post-truth, inverted reality world. The upside-down sheeple like you are the ones calling the truth crap, because it threatens your MSM programming. You're just another cult member who's been brainwashed. Mind-hacked and manipulated and you don't even know it.

There are no "confirmed cases", just propaganda based on a totally debunked (false) test for "Covid-19".

    GOOD NEWS:

Marston's pubs choose sanity - boss declares war on "virus" red tape and refuses to make staff wear masks, because it would feel like a hospital: (they'll be packed)

"The CEO said Marston's will reopen 90% of it's 1,400 sites from July 4 - and others in Wales and Scotland will follow once local lockdown restrictions are erased. It will also not force drinkers to hand over their contact details."

That link to a Johns Hopkins University chart on Statista.com is a damning indictment on the US federal government response to covid-19.  Let alone the previously released study by the Ivy league university, Columbia, that showed that up to 84% of US covid-19 deaths would likely have been prevented had the Fed government acted 2 weeks earlier, especially, but not limited to,  banning all incoming flights to USA, and forced quarantines to all returning Americans.

Not yet.  Remember, the generally believed lifespan of covid-19 is around 2 weeks (maybe a bit longer).  A person who tests positive may have been tested on or near the last days of his infection (without ever having shown any symnptoms) so his infection is about to end and obviously WON'T result in death.  But a positive tested person may have just yesterday contracted it! He may NEVER develop symptoms and 14 days later it's run thru his system. OR, he may develop symptoms in a week and get mildly sick like the flu. OR, he may develop symptoms in a week, develop symptoms which get progressively worse, forced to go to the hospital and then may be intubated and/or ventilated for another week or two more - in which case he may or may not survive.  All of which means, there is an inherent lag between positive tests and an increase in deaths BECAUSE it takes  2-3 weeks before the newly infected might ultimately die in the hospital.

Furthermore, it appears the younger individuals - particularly those without any preconditions like diabetes or asthma - have bodies more capable of fighting this particular virus successfully.  As a result of hard lessons learned thru April & May disasters - where 2,000 Americans were dying per day - States and local health agencies have been far more diligent at isolating and protecting and/or driving home the message to protect the higher risk people -- so we can expect to see a reduction in death counts just from these actions alone.

Keeping the spread of the infections DOWN is the fundamental key.  We can't live in a society supported by everyone's tax dollars where only 60% of the population can live life freely as before (being carriers of the disease but w/o symptoms) while the other 40% of American taxpayers are shuttered indoors for the next 2-3 years to avoid being infected by the lucky 60%.

Young people have lower fatality rate, that's true. However, some young people die from Covid-19 too. People as young as 17 years died from Covid-19, unfortunately.

Very unfortunate that anyone dies from it.  Meat-packing plant workers, healthcare workers, city cops, crews of US naval vessels, etc, etc, .  Florida, Texas, Arizona, and Oklahoma are having surges in cases so in 2-4 weeks we will see a rise in subsequent deaths - of all ages.

Meanwhile Europe has flattened the curve and moving into their final phases before fully reopening - as long as they keep Americans, Russians, and Brazilians (or travellers to those 3 countries) *OUT* of  Europe....sadly

Duval County, which includes Jacksonville, is now averaging about 384 new cases of the virus a day. Two weeks ago, that figure was 32.

Morgues may be full when the RNC holds their hootenanny.

NBC News reports more younger people now in Texas hospitals with COVID!!! Most have underlying conditions. Shhh, say it quick and softly. LOL

    THE REAL DATA ON CORONAVIRUS;

At this moment there are 4,242,097 CONFIRMED active cases in the world. 99% are in mild condition/ 1% is serious or critical. I say CONFIRMED because early on in the U.S. testing was limited to those showing symptoms were the only ones tested. I'm sure foreign countries lacked testing too. Health Care experts suspect that the number of actual cases in New York and Michigan was 10 times higher, not recorded due to lack of testing. The current U.S. recorded death rate is 90% recovered/10% died. This number will continue to drop (death %) as more are now tested. Experts believe the number of deaths is actually below 1%.

In the U.S. the number of deaths per million residents is at 389

    UK is 642

    Spain at 606

    Italy at 575

    France at 457

    Sweden at 526

    Belgium at 840

Early on with virus the "Health Experts" didn't have a clue. New virus with unseen issues. They intubated with ventilators and that didn't work. They now use pure oxygen with much greater results. They tried several drugs. NOW, they have settled on Dexamethazone and Remdisiver. It took months to figure this virus out, still learning.

Other than a complete International Travel Ban nothing would have slowed or stop this virus.

UNIMAN...Serious question...what's the point of the last post?

As far as I know, the virus came to the country and we have done the crappiest job of controlling its spread that any other nation.
