Trump, Biden and Obama failed to shutdown Nord stream 2 in Germany.  Most of the pipeline was constructed during Trump's watch.  Temporary revoking of terrorist designation for Houthis allow for more humanitarian aid to Yemen.  US and allies now resume long term aid for United nations relief after investigations find only 12 out of 13,000 employees accused of supporting Hamas.  For prisoners exchange, limited release of assets to Iran is restricted to humanitarian aid.  No president has complete control over border immigration.  Trump reduced legal immigration but not illegal immigration.  He made immigration problems worse.  Problem is that Trump tariffs impose needless costs on many Americans to benefit the few.  So Biden has extended metals tariff exemption for European union.

We all watched Chris Cuomo go through his COVID infection in his basement. And then we find out he was out jogging before his fake basement emergence. 

Now Chris has "Long COVID", that sucks.

There is no cure for long covid.  But doctors can prescribe medications for symptoms and physical therapy.  Food drug administration doesn't approved ivermectin for treating covid because of no scientific evidence that it works.  Regulators rely on data from clinical trials instead of endorsements from celebrities.  Some people can be convinced that placebos work.

Yeah, Ivermectin certainly works but so does orange juice and just taking it easy for a couple of days.

Homie didn't have side effects from the vaccine. He had side effects from taking prep.

There is still a lack of reliable evidence recommending ivermectin for covid treatment.  According to Mayo clinic, claims that ivermectin can treat covid are false.  University of Oxford study concludes ivermectin doesn't improve covid recovery, hospitalization or mortality rates.  Many people with covid recover within weeks or months without medicine.  For those at risk of serious illness.  doctors prescribe paxiovid, pengarda, remdesivir, molnupiravir and others.

 Yeah, I'm not touting the drug and I am not convinced about Long COVID either. Many people cannot accept getting old and what comes with it and need to blame something.  Just made a point the drug did show promise in some studies.

The vaccine has obviously damaged many people, some died within hours of the shot. Everybody is different and can have different reactions. Overall it appeared effective for the original COVID.

Let's see if in the future big pharma uses Mrna for a shot that they have no immunity for lawsuits. 

Center for disease control reports that covid has fallen from 3rd to 10th leading cause of death in the US during Biden administration.  If all states followed stricter mask and vaccine mandates, nearly 250,000 covid deaths could have been prevented according to study published in Journal of American medical association.  However if all states followed lenient policies of southeastern states, as many as 200,000 more people would have died.

In the United States the top five strictest states with pandemic lockdowns were New York, New Jersey, California, Massachusetts, and the island of Hawaii.

As a result, Canada covid death rate was 40% lower than in the U.S. Thousands of Americans might have survived if  not for Trump mishandling of crisis. Bolton said that Trump was lucky to face only one crisis because he was incompetent as president.

Major cities such as Toronto had extremely high desth rates. I think a lower death rate in Canada had more to do with population density that anything the Canadian government did, that Trump didn't.

 According to Johns Hopkins the observed case-fatality ratio was essentially the same in Canada and USA, with both at 1.1%.  Both far ahead of Peru 4.9%, Bulgaria 2.9%, Mexico 4.5%, Brazil 1.9%, and Russia 1.8%.  But behind Sweden .9%, U.K .9%, Spain .9%, Italy .7%, Switzerland .3%.

So, what is his point exactly?  Maybe he should have left a better plan in place like Sweden and Switzerland had.  Why did they fare so well without a playbook?

Did Singapore .1%, Vietnam .4%, Japan .2%, or even Belarus .7% all have this magic playbook?

What did he think was so special about his playbook?  More total lockdowns for longer?  Get old people into nursing homes quicker?  Shut kids out of school sooner?

Why did Biden/Harris not quickly implement this playbook, instead of letting even more folks die?

Biden administration embraced Obama pandemic playbook and US covid mortality rate declined.    Science feedback reveals average of 8359 covid deaths per week under Trump and average of 3940 covid deaths per week under Biden.  US vaccination has prevented over one million covid deaths according to Commonwealth study.  Polls show more Americans approve of Biden administration handling of the pandemic.

 Bottomline is this: As of September 2024, COVID-19 was responsible for 1.2 million deaths in the U.S., with the majority of those deaths occurring during Biden’s presidency.

Sure, Biden had to 'manage' it for a longer period.  Sure, Biden had a rate slightly lower using CDC data of 1,298 people were dying per day on average under Trump during his pandemic presidency, and 1,139 have died per day under Biden.  But, obviously, at the beginning the weaker, older and more sickly died off first.  There were more healthier and younger left under Biden.

So, there is nothing to indicate that Biden or his magic playbook would have handled the beginning any better.  In fact, there are indications they could have done even worse.  They had a mindset of forcing older and weak people all together with sick folks.  They were forcing people that had a respiratory issue and trouble breathing to breathe even harder though a mask that did not work and was recycling contaminated and dirty air.

I am quite sure those parts of the playbook were disastrous and should be eliminated.  I am sure Biden would have doubled down on those and made it even worse at the beginning.

So, very thankful he was not in charge at that time to make it worse than it was.
