Covid-19 Good And Bad

This is similar to what im hearing here in Canada...Ontario may be spearheading the concept to prepare for a 31 day full provincial wide mandated population quaratine for the entire month of May including no cross provincial border travel of any kind...conventional thinking here is that both incubation periods and symptomatic phase will be covered within that 31 day period...and between now and May 1, people will be able to properly stock up on essentials without the panic and hoarding, while the medical system revs up their supply engine in order to fully be prepared for the onslaught of new cases which will put maximum stress on the hospitals.

Best case scenario we would be looking at a June 1st target to get back to socializing again.

Perhaps Trump knew this timeline all along and has just been the circus ringmaster the entire time since he started his daily Trump Show Pressers...and he just needed to buy enough time as possible to get these wartime measures passed and get Ford, GE and others to get in line and Trump Up...regardless how GM now decides to play this out, their name brand will forever be tainted as Trump has called them out for not being a true patriotic company to America...look for Ford to dominate the future trucking & automotive industry for the next many decades.

Hopefully, Affordable Care Act can help those people who lose their jobs and health insurances. 

Rhode Island police began stopping cars with New York plates Friday. On Saturday, the National Guard will help them conduct house-to-house searches to find people who traveled from New York and demand 14 days of self-quarantine.

All major news organizations should temporarily replace their White House reporters with medical reporters so that the daily briefing is primarily about public safety. The political reporters can ask the press office about squabbles with governors etc.

It's not a secret that Trump extorted Ukraine for his political benefit, yet 52 Senators voted that that was okay. So it should be no surprise that he is doing it again. This time with blue state governors who have the temerity to speak the truth to the petty bully in the WH.

The Villages, Florida's huge Republican-rich retirement community, is experiencing community spread of coronavirus more than a week after Gov. Ron DeSantis was criticized for his slow and cautious response.

This is the place older older older Floridians moved to when they left Miami. This is really terrible news for those families.

Gov. Ron DeSantis opened a mobile testing site in The Villages on Monday ...Testing capabilities there are faster than other sites around the state... test results can be returned in about an hour.

Money always talks and this is a very wealthy Republican community.

Florida is going to need those testing sites and more ...since New Yorker's are fleeing by the thousands to the Sunshine State...

Delta reported only 10 to 40 passengers per flight & all airlines have severely reduced their flights here including JetBlue which many from the north use.

So the sake of the Floridians, i would apply the order of "stay-at-home" in Florida, if I were Gov. Ron DeSantis. But i'm no Desantis. Unfortunately, this Covid-19 thing will not only raid New York, or California, it could cause heavy damage through out the States. Better be prepared ahead than sorry later.

This relief bill isn't perfect; no bill is. However, I would have liked something preventing the insurance industry from raising their premiums to a certain % limit increase. You know they want to recover their cost spent during this crisis and I agree they should. However, I'd recommend it should take place over a period of time or people & companies will be not able to afford the increased premiums. 

If something doesn't prevent it, a bad situation will get worse.
