SCOTUS strikes down bogus attempt to try and silence voters. No one thought this had any chance of succeeding as Trump has NEVER BEEN CHARGED WITH INSURRECTION or BEING AN INSURRECTIONIST. This is a great day for American's.

dude I've been here and done that. You are correct. I got tired of being chastised by the powers that be, that called anything conservative was partisan while allowing almost the entire forum to be partisan. I take it as the media and the loudest voices, doesn't always mean it speaks for everyone. Just got tired of running my head into a brick wall, but wanted to celebrate democracy prevailing.

correct and they are a small percent, but if you spam the forum, it makes you think they are the majority. They are bots who do nothing but sit on this forum and others spreading lies, disinformation and propaganda, most likely on behalf of Russia or China.

A great day, indeed !!
DEMs were trying to interfere with the "will of the people," and their ability to vote for who they want. DEMs will stop at nothing to rig the election, including their attempt to imprison their political opponent.

Is there a way that Trump can be held out off the presidential ballot?
He still in court on lots of charges right? Can any of those proceedings leading to him being removed off the ballot? (Jail time, traitor, etc....)
I have a hard time seeing him lose his election as long as he is on the ballot and am debating a wager on it.

It's a good question, but I don't think he will be off the ballot based on the recent reasoning from the SCOTUS. They ruled the decision to keep Trump on / off the ballot should reside w Congress ( not w the states). If it ever came to it, despite all the crazy charges against him, I have a hard time believing House Republicans would ever allow that to happen w Trump off the ballot.

That is really it in a nutshell. It has caught up to them and they know nothing else.

To be honest I don't think so. The Dem's strategy of delaying all these "Trumped" up charges has backfired on them. One will likely be delayed until after the election, while SCOTUS decides the immunity case. The GA one I would say is on very shaky ground with the DA controversy. The Florida case is likely to be delayed as well. As far as placing a wager, I was going to in 2019, as I felt the only way he wasn't going to win was being cheated out of it with some voting changes and low and behold, COVID happened. They tried to keep those voting laws on the books as they saw how lucrative it was, along with ballot harvesting. I feel the same way about this election. I say barring any kind of cheating or another COVID type of advantage, Trump SHOULD win. In 2019, they had the people believing the Trump lies, but if you look at the polling that just came out, Trump leads Biden in Hispanic 46% to 40%, if I recall Biden took it by 16% in 2019. The Hispanic people do not like the open border that Biden has let go. Also Trump has made up a lot of ground in the black community as well, still not to the level of the Hispanics, but considering the strong hold the Dem's have had on the black vote, it's very telling. I would say make your bet, closer to May or June, we will likely have a better idea of all these cases.

The Dems were certainly hoping that the turmoil would continue to fit their narrative in an election year....who would've of ever thought this
Election years are the most bizarre of all the years...even more bizarre than a leap year...ut oh

There will not be attacks and insults, that comes from GOP members so I would fully expect this thread to be chest bumping mayhem until the cows come home.

Regarding waiting on the bet, I'm assuming the odds will continue to drop as they have been trending. Currently odds -110.
And sorry I should have been more specific.
If he gets a guilty charge in any of those cases, does he get disqualified from the ballot automatically? Without it going to vote

just like the majority of the threads in here that you allow, even though there are names called or what not. It's all partisan, this one is just stating a fact. Thanks for stopping by

I am no legal scholar, but my understanding is that even if convicted, he can still run for president. These mostly are just trying to muddy him up. They want the low information voter to think 'oh look, this guy is going to prison, he can't run or I wouldn't want him to be president'. The reason his popularity is going up is because the majority of people know these are bogus charges, twisted to try and charge him, because he's not committed a crime. Or even in the case of NY, they got rid of a statute, just to charge him and reinstated it. People know it's BS and that's why his support is rising.

Is this needed Wallstreet? This seems intentionally antagonizing. I know you mostly punish us, but this seems pretty blatant "attack" as you put in your previous message in this thread. Thanks for addressing.

Ya. I figured there must be a way to get him off the presidential ballot with how hard the opposition is pushing all these different charges...
Its an interesting dynamic between the 2 parties and the media groups
The media most definitely gets higher ratings from trump coverage. If he goes away there ratings would surely drop. He is almost his own drama TV show. Which of course is good for media....
The catch 22 is that by the media shoving him down the publics throats he gets an insane amount of free advertisement for his campaign. And a chance for the public to get drawn into the drama. On whichever side they decide on

You are forgetting, Donald Trump was very popular before he ran as a Republican. He had a long running reality show almost everyone watched. He was loved by celebrities and politicians, until he ran for president with a R beside his name. They even thought it was funny, Donald Trump running for president. Then they (media and celebrities) realized his platform made sense making him enemy #1. He spoke to people who are sick of lies like Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin were innocent young men murdered in cold blood. That's why he's so popular, he's not afraid to point out lies.

It's messed up how freely people throw around a label like "rapist" with no conviction for rape, no trial, no arraignment. No proof. Just some random hag coming out of the woods all of a sudden after decades.

Zackly....most just like an adjective to describe a noun they don't like...cool internet kids...hardly one of them can make a statement without calling the poster some name or some derogatory comment about Trump...
What most are not even understanding is that an ex president of 3+ years is grabbing more media attention than the current president....how and why is that...negative attention or not, Trump is in the news more than Biden because there just isn't anything interesting going on with our current administration so the focus has been on shedding a negative limelight on Trump versus what the current administration is doing...I think this backfires on them come election time...should of let sleeping dogs lie and focused more on propping Biden up somewhere doing something instead of the current tactic...wouldn't be surprised if Trump won again because this is a fairly weak ploy in my opinion...

I know anyone can be a rape victim but let's think about this for a minute. Trump has a pretty well documented type. We are asked to believe that at a time when Trump was married to Marla Maples, who was in his 30's, he's raping E Jean Carroll, who was in her 50's, in a department store dressing room. Think about the logistics involved with that. Raping someone, in a dressing room, without causing commotion? Without drawing attention. No witnesses? Let that sink in.
