Arizona is heavily reliant on California and the Colorado River for water sources and both are getting worse yet the population here keeps growing. I am also shocked at how much development and apartment construction I see, and the enormous number of huge business buildings going up everywhere. When I moved into the house we live in there was fields and cow farmers, traffic was light and it was open, in the ten plus years living here the city has a massive business boner for defense contractors and tech, I run past a Northrop Grumman building which was a cow farm and the focus is heavy on growth but light on supplying the growth with the necessary power and water let alone there being a drought for the last several years.
The corporate commish switched about ten years ago from pro solar to anti solar and the push for solar has ground to a halt because the repubs do not like subsidies for solar they want corporate freebies so Northrop can open another massive building and who knows how the city can handle whatever they allow to be built.
Housing prices the last five years has gone through the stratosphere, AZ used to be affordable and reasonable but not any longer.

Tesla is building a hardcore litigation department where we directly initiate & execute lawsuits. The team will report directly to me. tweeted by Elon Musk
BTW... Sidney Powell and Jenna Ellis need not reply.

Much of the same happening up here. I 'm up north of Seattle.....it was the boonies 25 years ago.....& the sprawl just continues. You can't even buy a lot around here for what I paid for my house 15 years ago. 100+ year farms are turning into Walmarts, Costco's, & biz parks. Politicians are obsessed with expanding their tax base, but roads, services, etc. be damned. Every day it's a log jam trying to get to/from I-5. This state has become the model of Idiocracy. Downtown Seattle is a dump. It's a damn shame.

As far as Teslas, flags are more of a truck thing. Doesn't mean there aren't Trump supporters driving Teslas. Teslas aren't really cars for adornment. I've never seen a Biden bumper sticker on a Tesla either. I know quite a few Tesla owners. Most would fall in the democrat/liberal lane but three are Trump supporting republicans. Two in Oregon. One in California.
I've actually been to the library twice in the last couple months. I had my taxes done there and I had to use one of their computers when my power went out. If you had been in one recently you would know there is more to a library than just books. I'm glad to see your republican friends care about the environment. Of course they are all from the west coast. A west coast republican would be called a liberal in Alabama. Especially since most MAGA's don't believe in global warming and could give a crap about the environment.

I don't know that they care about the environment. More of a status symbol though slightly older models are pretty affordable, and are common Uber vehicles.
TIME TO BRING BACK THE OBAMA CAGES!

Every 4 months our library sells donated/duplicate copies of books for 50 cents to a buck. They are separated by genre which makes it easy pickings. I was surprised with their selections of DVD's all donated by the community. One of my favorite movies is The Sting & I paid 2 bucks for it.
Glad to have/support the library in my community.
Personal sharing here....my Mom taught us that if when reading a book we didn't know what a word meant, we should write down the word/page#, look it up in a dictionary & use that word if applicable in future conversations. You won't ever forget the meaning of that word & an excellent vocabulary doesn't cost you a dime.
