Same thing happened in 2004 when the Democrats cried foul about voting irregularities between Kerry and Bush. So it was okay back then to raise concerns by the Democrats but not now by the Republicans. It's pure comedy to even suggest that it is not okay to contest voting irregularities when your very same party. that you all hold to such a high regard, did the exact same thing not so long ago. If you're gonna keep it real about the voting issue then at least acknowledge that this has previously happened and what Trump did is not the first of its kind. The Democrats did the exact same thing. Don't hate either party for raising their concerns in trying to keep the integrity of our voting democracy in place. It has happened previously and just happened again and I would venture to say that it will happen in the near future as well until there is a concrete voting system in place, which honestly may never happen in any of our lifetimes.
Honestly though, quit acting like your party is better than the other. Both parties have major issues, but yours isn't any better than the others. Our country, as a whole, isn't thriving and it's not just our POTUS fault.

In my comment,do tell me where I said 1 single word about someone complaining about voting irregularities.Did Kerry then encourage his voters to riot and try and overturn the election results,so in reality it's not the "same thing"?Encouraging your voters to riot and kill the VP so he can't certify the election results is not "raising concerns",it's trying to overturn the election. And the democrats ain't my party,I voted for Bush in 2000 and 2004.What I do hold in "high regard",is the fact that if you lose in an election you accept the results, and not riot and attack OUR country, trying to overturn the results. What is "pure comedy" is you trying to say "it's the exact same thing",it's not even close to being the same thing. So let's "keep it real",and do explain to me what trump did and how it's not "the first of it's kind", at least in my lifetime, tell me when another candidate had lost the election and provoked his voters into rioting and trying to kill his VP to overturn the election results.Tell me when that has happened Mr Keeping it Real? Now let's get to your comment about "keeping the integrity of our voting democracy in place",would that integrity also include the president calling a states SOS and threatening him to find 11,000 votes to then make him the winner of that state. Is that the "keeping the integrity of our voting democracy" that you want to keep in place? And right now, I will act like one party is better, but that isn't my party though.I unfortunately voted for Bush twice, even though he attacked and invaded a country for no reason.I voted for McCain because I thought if anybody would fight for this country,it would be the guy who proved he would fight for this country and had given up some of his life for this country.I voted republican until Obama's second term, when I realized that all the republicans were trying to do is block anything the democrats were trying to do to help this country. The republicans weren't trying to help this country, they just wanted to stop the democrats from doing things to help this country.I wish "my party" could be a party I would vote for,but the facts are anybody who holds the values of "my party",are now called rhino's by a conman. And I will never vote or enable a conman and a traitor to lead this country, but evidently you would. That's how we"re different,I don't put a party over my country.

I've read your posts Mrwhatistoya along with all the other haters in this forum thinking their guy or gal is better than the previous...So because people didn't gather at the Capitol when the Democrats called foul on the voting like they did under Trump it somehow makes Trump's accusation lesser than that of the Democrats who made the the very same accusations. If you really believe one man caused the Capitol riots then I suppose so but no one man is that powerful to have organized that here in the States unless you believe we are ran by a dictatorship.

@Midnight1 Midnight I see you rationally try and talk some sense to these guys. And I'm not trying to get on your case,so I hope you don't take what I'm saying that way.But these are the people who thinks it's perfectly okay to attack our own country to try and overturn our election results,I don't know why would you think they would give 2 sh*ts about what happens in some other country. These guys know exactly what trump is,a liar a conman and a traitor, they just don't care. They care nothing about honor, honesty or integrity. They proudly voted for trump, a guy who called a war hero a loser for getting captured in a war that trump ran from. They proudly voted for a guy who is on tape bragging about sexually assaulting a lot of women. You can't guilt these guys into having a conscience, cause they are just like trump, self centered pieces of garbage.

Ya the democrats didn't "gather" at the capital, that's what you call it gathering, you mean they didn't riot at the capital?Seems like a lot of them are doing pretty hard time(didn't 1 guy just get 10 years) for simply gathering at the capital. No what makes trumps accusation lesser and meaningless is the 60 something court cases that were thrown out by some judges that were even appointed by trump,he went to court and lost. And it should of been the end of his bulsh*t accusations. But the tantrum throwing baby couldn't admit he lost,so he had some fools who are now doing time "gather" at the capital to try and overturn the election,he lost.If you remember trump was saying it was rigged even before the election, hmm he even said the 16 election was rigged even before the election, either he's pretending to be a psychic or that was his excuse as to why he would lose from the beginning.Nowhere in my comment did I ever say one man only, caused the riot at the capital,it was a couple republicans and some people in his administration who were promoting the lie,he was just going to be the one who benefited from it.But all of them should be held responsible for the riot at the capital. So let me get this straight, you don't think anybody should be held responsible for the riot?

The fact that you will make an argument that somehow Trump is worse because he challenged the election results when the Democrats did the very same thing years ago is problematic. It's apples to apples no matter how you view it. Trump is not better or worse for challenging the election and if so then so were the Democrats back in 2004. The problem people have, because the media says so, is that people actually believe Trump organized and incited and created the people that rioted. It really depends on what angle you want to look at it from, which then brings in the party aspect. Everyone wants someone to blame for the Capitol insurrection and so no better choice than the Head of State. The one main difference back in 2004 and what happened on January 6th is social media.Social media is so heavily influenced nowadays by what people do and say. It's so easy to spread information or misinformation and to get others to see your point of view if that's what you are looking for. You see it more and more nowadays.
The accountability for the issue at the Capitol should be placed on the people that were there causing trouble. I don't care if they are Republican or Democrat. It's not a political party issue. Even if they were all of one party involved, it doesn't mean that party is awful and should be continually slandered on this forum day after day. It's quite evident of others on here that just want to bash one party over and over again like they are far superior than that of their counter party. That's part of the problem with this country. It's not one party against the other party. It should be Americans for Americans, as in for the people.
What was allowed to happen over the course of the couple of summers in some major cities throughout the U.S should be an embarrassment to the American people. It was not acceptable, so in looking at the Capitol issue I see it as American people raising up in the same unacceptable behavior as was exhibited throughout two summers. Nothing happened to those people who were controlling streets with weapons and rioting and looting and killing others and burning down cities in America. Really, this was happening in America! And quite frankly, those cities were ran by Democratic leaders. Did the Democrats allow it? Possibly, but they sure didn't do much to stop it.

Call it what you want, but if everyone is going to put so much focus and emphasis on the Capitol and not what was taking place in those major cities then you may just see which way this whole thing is slanted. I only see focus on the Capitol and I only see Trump being blamed for it as "inciting it." He didn't do anything of the sort. He exercised his freedom of speech like anyone else. Was it done in poor taste, possibly. Could he have stopped at some point, most certainly, but he didn't cause the Capitol issue. Sure, there may have been a select few that were there to cause trouble, but the majority did not cause issues at the Capitol. It was a select few, but the peaceful group was much greater in numbers than those that were certainly there to cause trouble. To me, it was Americans that were fed up with the bullshit of whatever it was that was impacting them. The pandemic ruined peoples lives, cost lives, forced people to be out of work and business to close its doors forever just to name a few. No one mentions this because it doesn't fit the narrative for the agenda they have. Accuse and blame one man for what happened, Trump. Seems strategic. Trump has other issues that he must face but the Capitol isn't one of them. That's mainly spearheaded by the Democrats to blame Trump. Pursue justice for those that did wrong that day, but no reason to solely blame Trump and all of its supporters. Most of what you guys do in here, not talking specifically to you, is bash Trump and raise up Biden like he is so great. Biden isn't great and neither is Trump. Take care of the American people first before worrying about matters in other countries. If there isn't focus on this then there will be more issues like the Capitol happening in the near future.

Bill Barr debunks every Trump defense. This simple case is really about national security and not politics. But Trump has a history of using legal system to delay, distract, distort or politicize accusations against him. Since the evidence is so damning, the best hope Trump has of avoiding an indictment is that democrats would rather run against a wounded Trump in 2024 election.
True, but because it is trump, theidiotic MAGA cult assume it's about politics only.

Good point. The cult is thoroughly brainwashed to believe every non-MAGA cult is out to get Trump at all times, in all situations, for everything imaginable, every day.

I have no problem with trump challenging the election results, the process of challenging it, is to take it to court. He lost all 60 something of the court cases, including the cases that were in front of judges that trump appointed.Right there it's over, cause there is no other way besides trying to riot and kill the VP so he can't certify the results, for him to retain power. So anything after the court cases is where the problem lies, and that's what makes trump worse. You continuing to say the democrats "did the very same things years ago" is a lie.I notice in my other post about telling me when the democrats rioted and tried to overturn the election results in 2004,you said nothing and you completely ignored it.If you could provide when they did that in 2004,then it would be that they "did the very same thing years ago",but I know you can't so we might as well skip that part.So right there your "it's apples to apples no matter how you view it",is complete bullsh*t.It's not the media who make people believe trump organized and incited the riot. It's his tweets before the 6th promoting the event(Jan 1st he tweeted "we're going to take back what they did to us on Nov 3rd,we're going to take it back),his speech on the 6th(And if you don't fight like hell, your not gonna have a country anymore),and his actions during the riot(trying to get security to remove the metal detectors, and never having the national guard to come in and help the capital police who were being attacked). It was one party doing all the rioting at the capital, that's why there is all the hate on this forum, who wouldn't hate someone who attacked our country and tried to overturn our election results? The republicans and you are still trying to defend what happened, trump just recently said he would pardon the people who did it if he is re-elected,sure sounds like he's defending them to me.

The Democrats did do the very same thing in challenging the election back in 2004. That's specifically what I said. The Democrats challenged it and so did the Republicans. That is apples to apples. Both parties have every right to challenge the results. In both cases it turned out that no voter fraud was there to overturn the election.
It's not the media who make people believe trump organized and incited the riot.
So he tweeted out information. Nothing new. He tweeted all of the time. He was exercising his right to freedom of speech. Doesn't mean he was right or wrong in doing so. That's the beauty of our country, people can speak out freely on what they believe even if it isn't accurate. There is zero evidence that he "incited" a riot or organized the killing of our VP. If what you are stating is true, Trump would already be in jail for attempted murder. That is so extreme to even make a comment like that when none of that is true. That statement alone is exactly what you are accusing Trump of. You are making an accusation that is unfounded and not supported. Just like Trump, it's your right to believe in your freedom of speech and tout that perspective but it doesn't mean that it is correct. See how this works. Just because people support someone's beliefs and then act in a certain manner doesn't mean that the person who raised those beliefs is responsible for others actions. Imagine if that were true. The culpability of every citizen would be in jeopardy. The old saying if someone tells you to jump off a bridge would you do it. If you do that's on you not on the person that proposed it. I would suggest finding hard evidence to support that Trump organized a group of people to kill our VP. I would suspect that you will not find that to be the case, but you are certainly entitled to your opinion. That's what makes America great.

You continuing to say the democrats "did the very same things years ago" is a lie.I notice in my other post about telling me when the democrats rioted and tried to overturn the election results in 2004,you said nothing and you completely ignored it.If you could provide when they did that in 2004,then it would be that they "did the very same thing years ago",but I know you can't so we might as well skip that part.

It was one party doing all the rioting at the capital, that's why there is all the hate on this forum, who wouldn't hate someone who attacked our country and tried to overturn our election results?
You sure about that? Was there a survey that I missed where every participant that attended the Capitol that day was Republican. I don't believe that any of that can be supported, however you are entitled to your opinion. Go ahead and hate whoever you want but the endless stammering about how great Biden is and awful Trump is on a daily basis here is ridiculous. Not so much from you in particularly but in general from the other yahoos on here that with just about every post is slamming Trump and praising Biden.
Regarding the Capital that day, why did the FBI disregard warning signs that they knew of regarding the threat from chatter that was picked up on social media and other formats? Why is there not more emphasis and blame being put on the fact that this was ignored and as a result the Capitol was exposed. An FBI investigation has stated that the violence was not centrally coordinated by far-right groups or prominent supporters of Trump. They stated that 90-95 percent are one-off cases. The other 5 percent were closely organized militia groups. There is evidence that the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys made plans to break into the Capitol but there was no evidence found that the groups had serious plans about what they would do if they made it inside.
The republicans and you are still trying to defend what happened
Show me where I was defending Trump or what happened at the Capitol? I am by no means defending Trump, but I certainly would not be praising Biden either like many do here. Both have numerous issues.

@ABooksNightmare I have no problem with trump challenging the election results, the process of challenging it, is to take it to court.

And exactly like I said, the democrats might have challenged the results, but never rioted and attacked our country to try and overturn the election results, that right there is not apples to apples.Ya,democrats were there rioting cause the democrat won the election,do you even listen to the bullsh*t you spit out your mouth, does that make any sense to you?Wouldn't the fact that trump is still saying that the election was rigged after getting 60 something court cases thrown out, even after you yourself admit "it turned out that no voter fraud was there to overturn the election",wouldn't that make trump worse?Sure sounds like your trying to defend him and his actions.
He didn't just "tweet out information",at that point his court cases were over, and it was a done deal that he lost the election and would no longer be in power. His only chance to stay in power was to illegally have Pence not certify the results, and that's what he tried doing.Tweeting information would be "We're having a protest on Jan 6th,would really appreciate people showing up",that's information.Instead he continued the lie that there was election fraud(even you admit that wasn't the case)and then during his speech that day incited his followers to march to the capital and "fight like hell or they wouldn't have a country anymore",if his plan was to just give his followers information, what he did was give them information as to what needed to be done so pence couldn't certify the results. Why else would they have to march to the capital? He needed them to do that,so they could get a hold of Pence so he couldn't certify the results.
And people are held responsible for inciting others to do things all the time,Bin Laden didn't hijack planes and fly them into our buildings, but wasn't he held responsible for inciting them to do it?Manson didn't actually kill anybody,so why has he been sitting in jail for the last 50 years cause his followers did it?People who tell others to commit suicide are held responsible,if that person does kill themselves. That's the "beauty of our country",you can't just say sh*t and lie about things and incite people to do things and not take responsibility for it when it happens.Do you"see how that works, that's what makes America great".
And you try and defend trump in any statement you've made in this thread, every response is you trying to absolve him for inciting his followers to try and overturn the election results. The democrats challenged the election in 2004,so that gives trumps justification to incite a riot in 2020 to try and overturn the results. In your eyes is trump guilty of trying to get the SOS in Georgia to find 11,000 votes so then he could be declared the winner in Georgia?

Trump Is Now Claiming He Can Declassify Documents Telepathically
Rolling Stone via YAHOO NEWS -
Donald Trump went on Fox News Wednesday night to vent to Sean Hannity about the civil fraud lawsuit New York Attorney General Letitia James slapped on him and three of his children earlier in the day.
The conversation eventually turned to another of Trump’s myriad legal quandaries: the Justice Department’s investigation into the classified material he was/is hoarding at Mar-a-Lago.
Trump told Hannity there need not be any physical or even anecdotal evidence that he declassified the documents, as he has the power to do it with his mind.
“If you’re the president of the United States, you can declassify just by saying it’s declassified — even by thinking about it,” - donald "adolf" trump on FOX News, Sept 21
“Because you’re sending it to Mar-a-Lago or wherever, there doesn’t have to be a process,” Trump claimed falsely.

Special master skeptical of Trump's declassification claims
CNN —
The special master overseeing the Mar-a-Lago documents investigation - fully approved by the Trump team - has ordered former President Donald Trump’s lawyers to back up assertions that the FBI may have planted evidence at the property during their search last month.
On Wednesday night, Trump suggested that the FBI planted evidence during the search.
He asked Fox News’ Sean Hannity, “Did they drop anything into those piles” of materials taken from Mar-a-Lago, “or did they do it later?”
