Well, it's safe to say no hurricane will make landfall in the U.S. in the month of June this year. That is now 38 years in a row the U.S. had no June hurricanes, a growing record! Before that June hurricanes made U.S. landfall at least once a decade!
In the last 53 years (1970-2023) there have been 2 CAT-5's, 8 CAT 4's and 19 CAT 3's. that hit the U.S.
The 53 years prior to that (1916-1969) there were 2 CAT-5's, 15 CAT 4's, and 18 CAT 3's. that hit the U.S.

EF5 Tornado's; So far this is the 11th year in a row with no EF5. And that too is a record and still growing.

First you say "most affected" as if it is happening now and it isn't.
Then of course there is only made up projections of future events as there is no data now to back up such statements.

But they MAY BE IN SHORT SUPPLY. But they may not be in short supply. So, give plenty of money and sacrifice so they can be right either way. 
Yea, I question the projections as well....the thing with projections is you can slant in whatever favor you tend to lean...the past cannot predict the future in these situations because there are many many unknown elements that must be taking into consideration and you can't predict those unknown elements even if there were data...what is today and in the future are unknown elements....these are no law of averages for climate so the models can be skewed in either direction....
Also, you would have to be pretty naive if you think that any planet retains its value and life form for eternity...what makes a planet habitable, aside from perfect elements to be habitable, is resources and with any resources they run out at some point....there are no endless supplies of resources anywhere in any planet/star that we have ever viewed, visited or sampled....the phrase, once was, is highly used for a reason....
Hate to break the news to everyone, but at some point, earth will have used all of its resources and will have nothing more to provide...this can be a catastrophic event wiping out human existence or it can be a situation where earthilings pack there shit up and move to another planet that can provide similar or other life forms....sun and water are key elements so that is the current scramble to see if life form can exist elsewhere....
Earth's plan is to burn out eventually....run its course so to speak...this may be more of a cycle of life then many lead on...if earth doesn't run out of resources then the sun will get us once the protection breaks down...I believe it is the other interest/fascination with exploring other planets....

In the U.S., climate change is highly politicized. Unlike other countries . Ideology influence republicans more than education. Whereas education infuences democrats more. Republicans are more likely to distrust science while democrats are more trusting.

Despite daily average temperatures (and ocean temps) increasing since 1850 the last 53 years show less major hurricanes hitting the United States than the previous 53 years before.
Since Climate Activists did not get numerous hurricanes so far this year they deflect to; look how fast they grow, look how fast they grow!
People are now better informed about climate science. Ultimately, science is determined by overwhelming evidences over time. Now over 99% of top climate scientists worldwide realize that current global warming is caused by burning of fossil fuels and the importance of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. No evidence of conspiracy by climate scientists to defraud the world.
