Healthcare bill

Like everybody else I have been following this and reading what people have been saying over the last 24 hours.

Is there a remotely sane person who is not already rich that thinks the Most recent proposal is a good idea? It is insane. I can not think of a more in your face middle finger given to all of America, except for the uber rich, by this administration. And they do not even bat an eye. If you are poor, sick, old, middle age, lower income, middle income, dem, Repub, etc. you will be impacted.

I hope it passes so that all the poor, middle of America, Redneck Trump supporters then realize that now they can't afford health coverage. That the trailer park princesses on their fourth pregnancy don't have planned parenthood. Middle-class conservatives like to believe it's only minorities. They have no idea what's really going on. And poor conservatives don't realize that they're getting f#cked over. It doesn't matter to me. I have health coverage.

it really is amazing. 

i'm going to f*ck you guys over badly, then i'm going on vacation, i'm going to continue to have the best healthcare, you're going to pay for it and you'll keep voting for me and people like me.



to be fair, i think this applies to our current government more than ever, but it can be said about any group in washington as long as the billion dollar insurance companies have their say.

no doubt, this is flagrant redistribution of wealth/benefits from the most vulnerable to the richest people. 

but when you're talking about hundreds of billions of dollars, how is it ever going to change?  especially when the people making the money can get the people getting so f*cked to support it so enthusiastically.

the "healthcare" bill has a provision that eliminates a tax on investment income if you make more than $200,000/year.   first, what does that have to do with our f*cked up healthcare system

even better, the tax cut starts this year and is retroactive.  but, the cuts in spending mentioned above don't start for several years.  any economics majors know what effect this will have on the debt.  here's a hint: less money coming in now coupled with no corresponding cuts in spending for several years. 

"conservatives" love it though because it's "conservative" as long as they call it "conservative" and people who call themselves "conservatives" support it.  that's how being "conservative" works.

According to medical daily, US has the worst healthcare system among rich nations.  Commonwealth fund rates systems based on quality care, access, equity, efficiency and healthy lives.  Here, the US rank low in equity, efficiency, access and healthy lives.  Obamacare is an improvement on the old system but Trumpcare is worser.

Under Mitch McConnell's GOP Senate Health Bill, 22 millions more people will be uninsured by 2026, 15 million of them will get kicked out from their health insurance next year, according to Congressional Budget Office today.

One of the main arguments the Obama administration made for passing the Affordable Care Act was that it would provide coverage for the uninsured.

Currently, accoriding to CBO, there are 53 million uninsured persons in the United States, including uninsured illegal aliens. The CBO estimates that in 2022--8 years after the Affordable Care Act has been fully implemented--30 million people will remain uninsured.

Under Obamacare, 8 % of legal U.S. residents will remain without health insurance in 2022, according to CBO.

Democrats in Congress are saying Trumpcare will kill millions ..

 Before Obamacare 48 million people were uninsured...after Obamacare 28 million people were still uninsured ..according to the left uninsured people will die ..so are the Democrats and Obama be responsible for killing the 28 million Americans ?

congressional members in the senate have want lists for their consitutients. well a whole lot of ear marks have to be added before the final five move to support this pc of legislation and because it  was not the same as the houses version another bunch of add ons i guess the best way to explain the procedure to kick back to the senate where it will eventually be approved . this wheel is real real dry and alot of grease is needed.
