Unforeseeable future, severe economy downturn, major physical illness, etc. can turn any one's fortune in a split second to the worse. A buddy of mine had an abrupt acute peritonitis after his foreign vacation, it almost cost his life. In the end of day, the medical expense for him was close to half of a million.

And my buddy's medical expense was some 10 years ago, which could easily pass million bucks threshold today.

as you know, this is normally around the time i would ask about your meds and whether you are taking them as prescribed, but the question has become rhetorical at this point.

Pretty sure you're the biggest hypocrite on this site, which is really saying something.

This has not to be siding on partisan, hats off to Sen. Susan Collins (R) in her interview on the MSNBC' Andrea Mitchell as of now on the health care reform. This lady has a big heart.

4.   The Repubs r screwed now regardless because if they don't repeal they will have a revolt and if they do it won't solve the cost problem but will remove millions from rolls.  Can u say speaker pelosi








not sure what you're talking about.  what good fiscally responsible healthcare bill doesn't include a retroactive capital gains tax cut for the rich?

Layman's Terms.......

Any services you had with Obamacare as your Insurance I would continue to pay the monthly Premium and send an extra $5-10 to pay for these services. Period

You can keep your Insurance if you like it.....

Now the system is saying they will be waiving the 10 essentials Obama required with his plan!  

Papers print Medicare will cutting 35% Blah-Blah-Blah moving on
but don't investigate billing practices of some providers is abuse. Talk is about Single payer insurance well...... Obamacare was a Single PLAYER plan and Insurance Companies won!

Remember just pay $5-10 extra if you had OMamacare

Bottom line is the McConnell's Senate Health Care Bill appears to be a tax redistribution bill in favoring of the riches.

Now Donald Trump is tweeting the idea of repealing Obamacare but no replacing it which would kick out over 30 million people from the health insurance. Dude is going in for the far right agenda, 30 more million will lose their health insurances from his idea.

i think trump has no idea what's in obamacare or any of these other bills.  he just wants to say he got something done so the nuts can say they are winning and he can keep on grifting.  kind of like when charlie sheen was winning after he was able to contract hiv.

Bunch of GOP Congressional Freedom Caucus members and conservative Senators are tossing this repeal now and replace later idea. Rep. Ted Yoho shares the same sentiment on CNN minutes ago, let's say if he loses his reelection and becomes unemployed and loses his health insurance, just like ex-Congressman David Jolly did. Jolly appreciates to the availability of ACA at the time when he loses his reelection and becomes unemployed in January 4th.  

Karma is a b*tch, it can come back and bite you behind pretty bad.

After four GOP senators opposing it, the Trumpcare has no enough votes to pass in Senate. Donald J. Trump is calling for repeal now and replace later which will strip off more million people's health insurance vs Mitch McConnell's Bill.

Dude is the river boat gambler, even McConnell disagrees with him. Trump puts Americans' heath care at the gambling table. He does not care our health insurances, he just tries to gamble it with other people's heath care.

What congressional Republicans need to do is drop their failed efforts to "repeal and replace" Obama's failed healthcare insurance and pass a clean repeal and maybe replace it later, if they come up with the votes.....no more of this Obamacare trud polishing...

That's what Donald Trump pitches now after this failure Trumpcare. Go ahead to repeal and replace LATER, this means over 30 million Americans will lose their health insurances. GOP will be facing many and many angry constituents in their districts, how does GOP pass a health bill with 17% support rate with 23 million people being stripped off their insurances? And Donald J. Trump's "repeal now and replace it later" will bust even millions more Americans' health insurances.

Yeah the failure in my mind is the GOP attacked Obamacare and its weaknesses, but it did not say how to FIX them or even better to make IMPROVEMENTS...they had/have no plan.

Instead of partisan bickering and attacking, is someone going to address the root problem that exists irregardless of what party forwards a proposal?

Getting rid of Obamacare does not fix a dang thing, it does not make the problems go away, it does not slow the HC inflation, it does nothing to make any progress.

So as usual we have the GOP trying to play partisan games instead of saying they will leave in place what exists until they come up with a COMPREHENSIVE solution that makes things better.

And spare me the "free markets" bull because that means nothing, and spare me the "let the states decide" crap because the states are just as stupid as the federal government and do not have a solution to slow HC inflation either.

The ACA was 'built' to fail. It was/is the transition to single payer. The almighty leaders in DC want total control of your health. Personally I try to keep myself as healthy as possible so I never have to visit a doctor. Can you imagine a country such as the US on a single payer healthcare system? 300 plus million people with huge, huge delays seeing a doctor when sick. Nightmare scenario.

By saying "Let the Obamacare fail, I am not going to own it", Donald J Trump appears careless of those 32 million Americans obtaining their heath cares through ACA. Many of his voters are among those 32 millions, he could not care them just a bit. Dude is a disaster even on his own base.

I agree with the first part.  But what do you, as a democrat, see is 'root problem'?

What 'problems' do you want to go away?  The only 'problem' you mentioned seems to be 'inflation'.
