Anytime a POTUS attempts to cut back on government spending/programs, there will be those who cry a river because the media paints those cuts as directed at one particular group.

I'm sure years ago when it was discovered that the government was paying $1,200 per hammer, and a move was made to cut that spending, carpenters everywhere wept.

If you haven't noticed, there is terrible waste in government, and redundancy reigns. 
Time to tidy it up.

But you stay delusional and angry, scal. It's very entertaining!

Exactly. Why waste taxpayer dollars on an entire building full of government lackeys just dedicated to that? If this was the Deep South in the 1940's, then yes. But now, in the day and age where I go to a restaurant and they don't even have a "Men" or "Women" restroom option anymore, it's just "Whatever, come as you are....."

You never hear of people from india, the caribbean, or chinese, japanese, or korean’s marching and complaining about racism. You know why. Because they’re too busy working. They’re too busy getting a free American education. They’re too busy becoming American business owners.

They’re too busy raising a family on American values.  They’re too busy paying for an American dream house. They’re too busy achieving the American dream. They’re too busy being productive and decent members of society.

Let’s look at the median household annual income in the United States.

Indians $88,000
Asians $68,000
Whites $57,000

When it comes to education, the rankings are the same. Indians are the most educated Americans, Asians are second, and whites are third.

What? How can that be? I thought the US was racist and filled with civil rights violations. If the US is institutionally racist, the racists are doing a really bad job.

I've given Scal that "test" before - and, of course, he kept harping on the "unfair and biased against blacks" angle. So, let's try a new one:

What other country other than America could an openly g@y, BLACK, cross-dressing, trans-whatever, person who was raised as a "lower-class" child of a single mother of 4 children rise up to be a world famous "entrepreneur" worth millions and millions of dollars?

I don't know, maybe we should ask RuPaul what "he/she" thinks about the "lack of opportunities" for blacks in this country.....

4,500,000 asian american millionaires in the united states.
200,000 india american millionaires in the united states.
35,000 black american millionaires in the united states.

The "institutionally racist US" has the most minority millionaires in the world. I guess the "civil rights" "oppressors" let a few slip through.

That Indian stat shows how little you actually know what you are talking about..it is actually amusing. So keep back slapping your weak put-downs because you righties again fail and look silly in the process.

So how does the average Indian get into this country, under what pretense? The average Indian comes in on a US visa which has to either be sponsored by a corp (said corp is actually receiving government welfare in the process because the majority are paying sub-US wages to that Indian worker) or they get in via small biz visa and that comes with high net worth requirements....sooooo do you think the average Indian would make more than the average white guy?? Uhhhh yeah they for sure will. A high high percent of Indians come in taking mid level tech jobs, thus their income bracket should be higher and many I know have dual incomes as spouses also work.

A better Indian sample would be to take an average of local Indian workers in INDIA and compare them to the average white guy, now that would be fun! 

Best to have solid facts when trying to gang bash someone lest you come off as partisan losers instead.

The FACT is it is you that doesn’t know what the hell you are talking about. The topic was race and civil rights in the United States. My position is civil rights agencies are no longer needed in the United States.

And if the United States is “institutionally racist,” the “oppressors” are doing a really bad job considering the FACT is the United States has more rich minorities than any other country in the world.

And it’s a FACT that Indians and Asians living in the United States are more educated and make more money than whites in the United States. The FACT is if you are clean cut, skilled and educated. Anyone can make it in America. The only obstacle is in the mirror.

You erroneously brought up income and you are wrong in doing so. How can you compare middle class tech jobs subsidized by government visas to the median income of general Caucasians? It makes zero sense...but keep high-fiveing your pals who also don't know what they are talking about.

So tell me something with regard to your latest reply...education specifically. The education you are elevating Indians with, how does the average college education in India compare to the US? Any idea? Here is a hint, you are wrong comparing the two and I suggest you compare equal matrices because not doing so makes you look partisan and uneducated.

The reality of this thread is zelo cannot form a view of his own without a blog to tell him what to think..this topic is moronic and erroneous and your replies fit right in step with the blog garbage. Indians positively are not more educated especially if you compare demographics properly which you are not. The closest comparison would be to compare Indians living here with a bachelor degree pool of graduates in a generic tech based program. You are way out of your pool in discussing this topic..

Neither of you are wrong. The main difference is in ambition, in India, most poor people are willing to break their backs to exist from one day to the next. Probably, a lot less would use their food money to purchase an iPhone or $200 sneakers.

Sorry this is also super faulty...you don't know your India very well, but unfortunately I do. Sneakers and IPhones no....but gold, religious clothing and items, donations to their temples yes. The most poor living in the slums will make stupid decisions just like we do but in a way that fits the customs and social agendas there...

Who gives a Sh!t how the Indians (or the Chinese for that matter) enter into this country.  The OP of this thread calls out a defense of blacks (shocker), and 'Gimme' and 'Money' make good points .  So why the diversionary tactic Wall about how people enter this country and how they are benefited.  Let me take the flip side of your argument.  I don't see any people from Africa (Chad, Nigeria, Kenya, pick your favorite country from Africa) coming into America and being hired by Silicon Valley.. So , seriously, stop with the tangent discussion.

Let's have a serious discussion.  Blacks are (continuously) looking at themselves at victims in our society, and refuse to enrich themselves in society (as a whole).     So , let's do away with groups like BLM that does nothing to enrich the lives of Blacks, and seeks to disassociate themselves from society.  The other folks in this thread have already made valid points.  America is less discriminatory than many other countries to Blacks.  Blacks need to accept some responsibility for their own failures.

You gotta bone up on the whys to get your answer. The why is corporate infrastructure and cost/benefit analysis...

India specifically was established via the British in a way Africa is not and cannot be. India has infrastructure and corporate conglomerates like NTT Data has invested large sums of money and staffing to develop technology related incubator/learning environments so they can mine the brighter "college" students to groom for cheap corporate IT staffing roles so US corps can get cut rate low skill IT workers to work 90 hr weeks in the hopes of going to the US and escaping India wages and provide for multiple layers of family.

In Africa the infrastructure is not there, the social risk is too great for the reward and the process would take decades to develop and it just is not financially plausible or it would have been done long ago.

Enormous social differences between Africa and India/China.

Wall, I totally get it,... England has many former colonies, not limited to India..   that is a separate discussion from the OP discussion from this thread.   In short, the onus is on the blacks to step up to the plate and join the rest of society here in America.  That is important and needs to be addressed.    BLM was a crutch that has since been shorted out.
