Hillary Clinton to win 2016 Election @ -300 (10 to win 3.33)
Not here to start trouble, but I consider this the easiest wager I've ever seen, so I will make what is a massive bet for me on it. If you can't see what is going here, I can't help you, but it's crystal clear to me so I will take the money.
And before the onslaught comes in, I won't be voting for her, not that it matters what happens in my state...
I highly advise anybody to put personal preference aside, and just take the free money that is being put on the table.

Don't give 1 sh*t about polls, nothing on the TV is real, neither is the election...
I do live there and I do get it, and like I have already mentioned, I am not a Hillary Clinton supporter.
Not happy about the direction the country is headed either, so this is not a political gesture on my part, but my gambling, math nerd side sees an incredible opportunity and is taking it

it's a solid wager. anybody not blinded by ideology realizes that Trump is a amateur.

Skipster- I don't believe the point was ever for him to win, which makes this very different than sports wagering, and an opportunity for a larger investment
-dangle a carrot for people to get excited about, create the illusion of having won, and then let them go back to sleep

10 dollars to win 3 and change. Where is the value in that? We're not talking the '85 bears here.
The value is in the fact that a fair price is nowhere near this....this is not sports betting where "anything can happen." There is no event to hold your breath over.

I took half a position at -165 a few weeks ago. will take more if the math challenged bet her down a bit.

Good point and people who are gamblers on this site know and are not ignorant to the reality of the difference

Ok I think you dispelled the desperate and classless attempts by the the haters wanting you to lose money. Not sure in their cheering for you to lose if you thought that there were any valid points they made.
Really nothing more despicable on a gambling website than people if not guts or integrity cheering for a gambler to lose their wager. You really see some of the lowest of the low with those 3, there are "more" lol.
When you say Donald wash and chosen for the job, I am confused by what that means as the wager is on Hillary right?

It's just this years rendition of the illusion of choice. The endgame was to get Clinton elected, and truthfully she has a horrific track record and is not very well liked. In comes something to suck up all of the attention and negativity, so that we have a political climate where the majority are more concerned with seeing one candidate lose than they are worried about the implications of the other winning...
This isn't some coincidence, there aren't coincidences at this level, it is all very craftily organized. I am not here to convince anybody of anything, once you see it, you can't unsee it. My political opinion is irrelevant, it just is what it is...

But isn't trump the anti-politician supposed to break that illusion of choice? Or is it that the lemmings are fooled by that illusion also?
I think with Obama the GOP had dug it's hole so badly and with poor choices in strategy and candidates they marched him into the White House twice.
The thing with trump is that the GOP establishment did not want him. So the idea that it was orchestrated by them doesn't make sense. So then the only conclusion is that it was the voters in the GOP majority that wanted Clinton. So what I am seeing with your logic is that a vote for trump in the primary was basically a vote Clinton and the GOP majority voting base is going to match Clinton into the White House

The GOP has nothing to do with any of this. They've been had...
We are discussing something that is on a level that cannot be left up to chance, and it isnt...
With modern media, any individual can be pumped up one minute and slammed down the next. Trump gaining the traction he did sent fear through out the world. Yes the world. I am in Europe and as soon as anybody finds out I am American all they want to talk about is Trump. Of course misplacing attention is amateur hour magician technique (go to any magic show and you'll see what I am talking about quickly) and the whole world is set to breath a collective sigh of relief when we get Clinton (yikes).
You need to zoom out from the smokescreen that is American politics and think about the bigger picture...

Wow... I really like your perspective... Not that I totally agree and as a non-partisan independent I don't blindly agree with anyone... But I like your view being from outside of the USA looking in and being able to be logical and objective in what is happening.
I guess I wonder tho if millions Americans can be conned and "had"just because they are GOP. And for this to be all orchestrated seems hard to do unless you are betting that certain groups of Americans are really that gullible and completely void of independent thought...
It seems like the rest of the world is laughing at the GOP and the USA having a reality tv show narcisist as the president. Are we really that stupid? I guess based on the votes some Americans are
But here is my wrench I'm going to throw into this. I get that trump is a complete joke but what if the GOP goes against its ignorant majority base and crowns its own candidate. It is my opinon that any viable GOP candidate that is "anyone but trump" like Cruz, Rubio, Ryan etc can give Clinton a run for her money and maybe even win... And mind you I'm talking viable candidate, not someone like Carson with no experience or Cain that ran previously that is just a businessman with no clue of govt... This might make you think twice about your wager

The GOP isn't getting conned we all are. We somehow still believe that we have a true democracy. I have no idea how this idea prevails despite all of the glaring evidence and patterns of the contrary. The world is not laughing at the GOP, they are laughing at America, but more importantly they aren't even looking at Hillary Clinton as anything other than NOT Trump.
The thing about your wrench is that it ignores the entire point. The fact that those individuals would give Clinton a run for her money is precisely why they won't be the candidate. The most important thing in any given election is getting a well-groomed, well-behaved president. The second most important thing is to create the appearance of free choice and democracy so that the people go back to sleep until the next round of smoke and mirrors. To pull Trump out at this point would completely destroy both of those goals.
My wager is based on how it is, not how I'd like it to be, or how I want it to be. If you think actual "politics" has anything to do with my wager, it doesn't, and thinking about it that way is fine, but not going to give you any clarity about how I see things...

I like that you talk about what is and not live in a fantasy land of how you want it to be or how you feel emotionally.
I agree with you that the world doesn't see partisan politics, they see America and laugh. I remember travelling abroad during the gw bush, wmd/Iraq war... People didn't care if you voted for or supported bush and GOP's, they thought badly of all Americans based the decisions of the leadership.
I have been saying that partisan lemmings who believe their side is better and the other side being the cause of all the problems like someone like Rush Limbaugh would sell to his gullible audience is the problem in America.
It's the illusion of choice. It's like people arguing between Pepsi and coke but in the end they are both bad for you. But you see them on here, the real sad ones, spending all their time and effort and energy in saying their coke or Pepsi is better or their oj/Zimmerman is innocent.
But I think this serves a purpose... Because if the partisan lemmings were able to break free of their prescribed rhetoric and talking points and start thinking for themselves, they might have to look at themselevs and their own life rather than obsessing about partisan politics.
This is completely terrifying for people that scape goat and blame everything and anything other than themselves for their life...personal accountability and responsibility is just completely beyond what they can handle and it is better to point the finger elsewhere as foundation of how they live their life.
So in essence perhaps the partisan lemmings with their lack of self accountability and responsibility can not make individual choices for themselves so they lack the self awareness to see that choice in politics is an illusion
