Hmmmmm what would I do different, well many many many things. Your comment about unemployment is down and economy is up is strongly erroneous. UE is down but wages are not rising and have not kept track with the UE rate, do you know what that means? Any idea? It means jobs being created are not jobs increasing income and current workers are not gaining any increase in wages...so with inflation going up in MANY areas (energy, housing, healthcare) the net effect is a NEGATIVE economy for the median to below median worker...so clap clap clap for low paying, low income and no potential for wealth creation for the average guy economy. Trump lied in his campaign promises about working for the little guy, he has done NONE of that...the latest evidence being his farce of a drug pricing joke. Any time you see the industry in question JUMP higher on the same day that the loud mouth is allegedly going to slap them down, it shows how muted and stupid his promises are..he is a windbag with nothing but insults and tweets and garbage coming from him.

I do not feel safer today than in the past, I feel like the country is divided and Trump is rationalizing people hating each other and disparaging each other, I feel the gap between most of us and the elite getting wider and wider...I feel like Trump is offending any and all and this will end up costing us greatly in trade and military lives let alone what might happen to civilians. Trump is destroying things just to destroy without thought of his actions and his stupidity.

Wallstreetcapper is right.  For years, economic growth is not translating into higher median family incomes which indicates a trend of greater income inequality.  According to US census bureau, middleclass income reached highest level ever in 2016 under Obama.  There's a risk that this might be as good as it gets because US unemployment is at 16-years low now.

The FED does not allow corps to offshore higher paying jobs and not pay higher wages, the FED does not allow Apple to offshore billions for years with no recourse. You need to understand what the FED did/does and get your facts straight.

Ive never defended the FED...never. I've clarified what their role is and you obviously do not understand their role. The FED does not dictate employment policy, the FED does not control allowing corps to offshore or to bring in HB visa foreigners to undercut American jobs.

The FED influences interest rate...that has nothing to do with what you are discussing. You do not have a clue about what I think because your FED comments make that very obvious.
