I'm embarrassed for Trump supporters

You really prove that you don't know much about Trump.  He is not going away.  He may announce he's running this week.  If he doesn't win the primary, he will run as a 3rd party nearly guaranteeing another Democrat President in 24.  There is no bar too low for this guy.  

Generally, election results show voters don't trust both parties enough to give one side a strong majority.  Apparently, inflation, economy, border and crime aren't everything.  Abortion rights, democracy, government policies and quality of candidates also matter to voters.  But disturbing that horrible election deniers are elected because of extreme gerrymandering, brainwashing and polarization.  Fox news blame under performance of republicans on the rest of mainstream media for telling truths.

I'll say it again: Republicans should be forced to carry Donald Trump to term, even it if endangers the life of the party.

Beau of the Fifth Column put out a great video today talking about the Republican party finally dumping him, but not because of anything he did in the last 7 years to destroy the party or country.  They only dumped him because he lost.  Power at any cost is all they care about

GOP is trapped with Trump as the face of the party.  Now republicans are caught between trying to move beyond Trump and pleasing MAGA extremists. In midterm elections, Trump is toxic for GOP newcomers in swing states.  He is blamed for promoting poor quality candidates who are unfit to serve in congress.  Fighting between republicans might improve chance of democrats winning in 2024 elections.

At least Lake is right about American voters seeing through lies.  Many election deniers have lost.  For example, 8 of 12 secretaries of state who are deniers.  Republican Hawley complains that midterm elections have been a funeral for the GOP.

A jury has convicted Jesse Benton, on six campaign finance-related charges.

Benton, a former adviser to Rand Paul and GOP political consultant was pardoned by Trump for other crimes just before he left office.
