Perhaps, republican policies and lifestyles tend to be more unhealthy?  The Atlantic reveals that 37% of republicans are unvaccinated compared to 9% of democrats.  Unvaccinated population has a higher risk of covid illness or death compared to the fully boosted in same age group.  Even before the pandemic, data between 2001 and 2019 shows a widening gap in death rates between republicans and democrats in the US according to British medical journal.

Trump's pandemic killing more is somewhat understandable of course, but even before trump??!

Trump team turns over additional classified records and laptop to federal prosecutors

Former President Donald Trump’s legal team turned over
more documents with classified markings and a laptop
belonging to an aide to federal prosecutors in recent months,
multiple sources familiar with the investigation told CNN.

The Trump attorneys also handed over an empty folder
marked “Classified Evening Briefing,” sources said.

The previously undisclosed handovers – from December
and January – suggest the protracted effort by the
Justice Department to repossess records from
Trump’s presidency may not be done.
