Bad numbers skew your 'small' Americans number.  Adults are the ones paying taxes -- and only 55% of them, So, really ~ 8 million or so.

The other issue with it is it that this does not delve into it well enough. 

Look at the tables from the year before and the year after the new rates were implemented.  Quite obviously, they all went down.  The most obvious point missing is that a lot of people go up and down in brackets.  This most likely means a large majority of the 'small" number went up in brackets -- and that is also a good thing!

Most folks would be willing to pay more in taxes -- if it meant they had earned more than the year before.

Even the Liberal bastion Times had to admit this.  Most folks got a cut -- they just mostly got the difference through the year and, consequently, spent it like they do with any extra money they get.

I think the overall point is: if you were to have made the exact same as the year before -- you would, by and large, have paid less in taxes.  Pretty sure that was the point that was trying to be made.

Very few exceptions.  People that use the exceptions are just being disingenuous.  To me that is simply silly when the numbers do not lie.

Yeah, no conflict of interest here.. Quid pro Joe got the federal prosecutor in Ukraine fired.. even boasting about it on TV.  So, what are we investigating Trump for ?  For doing his job, and getting the Ukrainians to do theirs in the Hunter Biden fiasco ?
