Trump does not have a working understanding of sarcasm, jokes, or medicine.
Same for weather, climate, history, law, geography, science, technology, democracy, literature, space, math, and art.
Ditto for nukes, walls, and moats.
Just sayin....

The sunlight use has been known for years to help with lots of respiratory illnesses. They knew for tuberculosis, etc.
Sure trying to get it directly into someone would need technology we, of course, did not have years ago — so, “get some fresh air and get out in the sun” was the next best thing.
But the new advancements do show some promise. For example:

Led by Mark Pimentel, MD, the research team of the Medically Associated Science and Technology (MAST) Program at Cedars-Sinai has been developing the patent-pending Healight platform since 2016 and has produced a growing body of scientific evidence demonstrating pre-clinical safety and effectiveness of the technology as an antiviral and antibacterial treatment. The Healight technology employs proprietary methods of administering intermittent ultraviolet (UV) A light via a novel endotracheal medical device. Pre-clinical findings indicate the technology’s significant impact on eradicating a wide range of viruses and bacteria, inclusive of coronavirus.
“Our team has shown that administering a specific spectrum of UV-A light can eradicate viruses in infected human cells (including coronavirus) and bacteria in the area while preserving healthy cells,” stated Dr. Pimentel of Cedars-Sinai. Ali Rezaie, MD, one of the inventors of this technology states, “Our lab at Cedars-Sinai has extensively studied the effects of this unique technology on bacteria and viruses. Based on our findings we believe this therapeutic approach has the potential to significantly impact the high morbidity and mortality of coronavirus-infected patients and patients infected with other respiratory pathogens. We are looking forward to partnering with Aytu BioScience to move this technology forward for the benefit of patients all over the world.”

Trump’s single best advantage as an incumbent — his access to the bully pulpit — has effectively become a platform for self-sabotage.
He doesn't want "hostile" questions being asked of reporters, so he's taking his microphone & bringing it home.
He'll be back soon because he lives for the attention. Personally I don't care or watch his rallies because it's all lies.

Midnight1 is right. Coronavirus has amplified Trump's weaknesses and muted his strengths. Making factually false claims. Sending mixed signals. Blaming other people. Promoting dubious remedies. However history shows honesty is the most important leadership quality in a crisis. Polls show most Americans trust governors, mayors and medical experts more than Trump.
Delusional Trump still brags about US having the greatest economy despite current worst recession and unemployment in years. Although lucky to inherit a strong economy, Trump has weaker GDP growth, jobs creation and stock market gains than in Obama's last term. But under Trump, the longest economic expansion in US history has expired.

Trump's FDA took over a month to make any substantial purchase of fruits and vegetables for the nation's food banks. Instead he allowed the food to rot in the fields.
Citizens are lined up in their cars for miles waiting for food to feed their families.
Chalk this up as another national disgrace under the POS in the WH.
And Trumpettes want to blame China for all of these fark ups, right Rush?

After all of this bitching from people who i would bet most have done nothing for their country or to help those in real need. All you need to do is look at how much all of the democrats that ran for his job gave to charity before they decided to run and then you see what a joke they are. Truth be told there are not many people on either side that would be considered a good person if we really looked close enough.
But if we are honest Donald Trump is a person the most people envy and would love to trade places with.
Hot wives
Hot girl friends
Plenty of money to do what ever
and he doesn't take crap from anybody.
And for a bunch of gamblers to be sitting around talking about what a crappy person someone else is!!
I have known some really good people from my years and travels in Casinos but they are very few. Most would steal from their grandmother and some have.
But it is easier to rip someone else apart than look in the mirror!
Lets hope we get sports back real soon so we don't have as much free time to convince ourselves that we know everything.
And to all Best of luck

I am not sure were you are seeing people lined up for miles to get food but let us know and maybe instead of bitching we could be helping. I know my friends in the restaurant business in Atlanta have been serving up meals to people in need.

Not sure when the FDA got into the business of buying food for the food banks
Not sure why you think they should? That’s not how food banks have been run.
The issue is the supply chain has been disrupted. The article mentions two places in Florida (where some of these lines are that are in the news) that have/had excess food. The state of Florida could easily go get the food and distribute it. Don’t have to wait on the Federal government to do everything for you. Same thing happens with hurricanes, etc. The food is right there in your state — work it out on your own.
Nobody could foresee a complete shutdown like we did with the restaurants and everything else — it has never been done before. This is not a contingency plan anyone has in their back pocket — to shut everything down for weeks/months. Very disingenuous to put that on one person or government agency.
When you do drastic things that you have never done before, you have to expect there to be all sorts of logistical problems and unplanned contingencies — by definition!
What really needs to be examined is the media’s rush to push this into an over-hyped panic mode. This has really hurt a lot of people unnecessarily — and for many, it may be longterm. Now that it is plain the numbers were vastly wrong and tremendously exaggerated the longterm effects of the shutdown will have to be examined at some point. So, that hopefully folks do not fall for the okey-doke next time.

People need to start working things out without waiting for the feds to tell them how to do it. Obama was wrong, I did build my business. I don't need Trump or any other politician to tell me how to do it. They all make mistakes it is just most you did not here about until 3 1/2 years ago.

Do you have a television? We have lines in PA, FLA, TX etc.
Yes, there are many great organizations stepping up but it's not enough & they too are running out of food/donations,
If you really want to help, go to feedamerica.org to find where there is dire need.

I blame FEMA & the entire Trump organization and you choose to blame the media and the governors. Red state have been living off the teat of blue states for decades.
President O's administration put together a 69 page playbook to address a situation of this nature & the Trump administration ignored it.
I agree this is going to be long term. Businesses will close and jobs lost. People will have to reinvent themselves in the changing job market & many will go bankrupt. In this type of disaster, citizens look to the government for leadership and guidance not medical advice from a mental midget.

While Americans are looking for food to feed their families, the Trump administration says Trump's so busy he sometimes doesn't have lunch.
Really???

Red states have been living off the teat of blue states for decades ?? That's a good one !! No, states like CA, NJ, NY, and IL (just for starters) have no one to blame but themselves for their high tax policies and driving people out of their own states. The Chinese Virus is only making their problems worse, but the problems were always there.
We're all waiting for your explanation on how TX, OK, etc. (Red states) benefit from the blue states...... I'm gonna go get some popcorn. This ought to be good !

Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, West Virginia, New Mexico, Kentucky, Montana, Alaska, Louisiana, Arizona & Wyoming area all red states who rely most on the federal government.
In fact, Kentucky, Mississippi & Louisiana rely on the federal government for 40% of their revenue.
Have you ever been to Oklahoma? The largest employers in the state is the FAA and universities. Homes are dirt cheap because no one wants to live there. The food is bland, the culture is non-existent unless you like rodeos and the inbreeding is immediately evident if ever stop to get gas in the state.
As far as Texas, they're all hat. You would fit in there well.

Trump says there will be "some exceptions" to his Executive Order on immigration.
Trump Translation: "I need my resorts staffed and some of my friends need wives."
The ban did not suspend the visas for agricultural workers from which Trump Vineyards benefits.
Now Eric is touting the family "Quarantine Wine."
The whole family is despicable.

Blame the Democrats for any “lateness” in your Enhanced Unemployment Insurance. I wanted the money to be paid directly, they insisted it be paid by states for distribution. I told them this would happen, especially with many states which have old computers. per Trump
There is no federal unemployment system. It has to go through the states.
What a dope!

Hannity threatened to sue the NYT over comments made in the paper. He wanted a retraction.
The Times responded with a curt "no."
As Michael Corleone said "My offer is this. Nothing."
You never worry about anyone who "threatens" to sue you. If they really planned to sue, they wouldn't threaten to do so. They would just do it.
