    CNN -

USA Today first reported the letter.

The letter, which echoes the pledge of support from a similar group of Republicans for President Joe Biden ahead of the 2020 election, seeks to convince voters who backed previous Republican presidential nominees to support Harris and prevent former President Donald Trump from being reelected.

“Of course, we have plenty of honest, ideological disagreements
with Vice President Harris and Gov. Walz. That’s to be expected.
The alternative, however, is simply untenable,” the letter read.

“At home, another four years of Donald Trump’s chaotic leadership, this time focused on advancing the dangerous goals of Project 2025, will hurt real, everyday people and weaken our sacred institutions. Abroad, democratic movements will be irreparably jeopardized as Trump and his acolyte JD Vance kowtow to dictators like Vladimir Putin while turning their backs on our allies. We can’t let that happen,” it continued.

The letter, signed by aides of former President GW Bush, Sen. Mitt Romney, and the late Sen. John McCain, again urges fellow Republicans to reject the re-election of [the CONVICTED FELON!], calling it a potential disaster for the nation. This letter also includes endorsements from at least five former aides of the late elder Bush.

A similar group of about 150 anti-Trump former staffers of Bush, McCain and Romney pledged support for President Biden four years ago in the 2020 election against Trump.

do the magas have large organizations made entirely of dems switching to support the maga crime boss ?

I know, right?!!   Quite the war chest just to start! an_cheers

Of course the next two months won't be near as much... But then again she doesn't need the funds to pay colossal lawyer fees to stay out of prison.  She can actually use it all for the campaign itself.  All $360 MILLION!

Right, and that's the key difference.

ABC News steps into the spotlight tonight
    with high stakes Trump-Harris debate

    New York CNN —

As [former prosecutor] Kamala Harris and [current CONVICTED FELON] Donald Trump take the stage Tuesday night in Philadelphia in their first face-to-face meeting, the spotlight will also shine on the host of the debate: ABC News.

Moderators: David Muir and Linsey Davis

It’s a big test for the Disney-owned network in what is the only scheduled debate between Harris and Trump of the 2024 race that could serve as a make-or-break moment for either campaign.

    Prediction:

Kamala will win, but the CONVICTED FELON (or team) will claim trump won

    @fubah2

That's a pretty good website, the idea  to mesh the betting market sites together. I'm also checking on Polymarket.

Polymarket is international, and I believe they are market based, not odds based, and in 2020, the market favorites won every "market." Kamala is leading 52% to 47% and that is substantial. She is favored to win Pennsylvania, Wisc, Mich. The assumptions are these "bettors" are also watching the poll numbers and many other overlooked variables, too. The amounts wagered are not smallish, so these are knowledgeable, investment type  "bettors" (not doing it for entertainment). Looks like more than a billion dollars will be bet on it, which is approaching Super Bowl numbers.

So she's doing well, and hopefully she will keep up the momentum and keep trump out
