I didn't see white people flocking to live in ghettos or sign up for a life where they had an increased chance of incarceration.

What you’re asking for doesn’t exist. You can’t statically measure the attitude of cultural acceptance. Have you watched the documentary the Tanning of America? It documents how blacks went from rejected to accepted in the United States.
The documentary shows the countries attitude towards race starting from the 70s up to the election of Obama. It ends on the note that racial harmony has finally come to America. The honeymoon is over. All the polls now show race relations are worse under Obama.
