The current GOP has literally gone to hell.  Trump (a bigot, pathological liar, sociopath and aspiring dictator), MTG, Louis Gohmert, book burning, anti-intellectualism, rampant anti-immigrant, racism and LGBTQ hatemongering just don't compare to fine moderate to liberal Repulicans like Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Nelson Rockefeller, Earl Warren, Edward Brooke, Mark Hatfield and Jacob Javits as well as many others too numerous to mention.

For instance, no one I know is anti-immigration rather anti-illegal entry. My ancestors did not just walk in, get a plane ride and hotel stay, they had to pass a legal process first and then make it on their own. The Left ALWAYS spews disinformation just like this. Now they want people entering our country illegally to vote.

Christian nationalism was a very large part of a fascist regime in Europe about 85 years ago......The similarities are striking.
