No one in this country should have to decide between eating or paying for electricity. Doctors & other professionals who assist in defrauding Medicaid should lose their licenses, pay fines & perform community service.  The Pentagon thinks they are entitled as well & I would take away their checkbook. They have been exposed by the media for ridiculous spending covering decades. A billion here & a billion there adds up pretty quickly.

The Pentagon is weighing legislation that would give contracting officers the power to demand back-up data on spare parts costs after its inspector general said TransDigm Group Inc. could be paid about 9,400% in excess profit for a half-inch metal pin.

The Defense Logistics Agency could end up paying TransDigm $4,361 for the “drive pin” in a July contract that should cost $46, according to a Pentagon review endorsed by the inspector general.

The review found potential excess profits for 98 of 100 parts sampled and concluded the Pentagon may end up paying TransDigm $91 million more in coming years for parts valued at $28 million, with excess profit per part of 95% to the 9,380%, the Defense Department’s inspector general said in an audit labeled “For Official Use Only” and obtained by Bloomberg News.

As the Pentagon weighs whether to recommend legislation to require more disclosure by contractors, the House Committee on Oversight and Reform will review the audit and TransDigm’s pricing policies in a hearing on Wednesday.

Looking at your thoughts and opinions in this great thread you are the bench mark of what a true American is ask to be. Not. “ Hooray for  me &  F__k everyone else” or “ F__k him before f__ks you” If only politicians did their best for all Americans and did tried the hardest to keep   Their promises like FDR or Eisenhower. When I look at Trump I see a Schmuck that emulates all that’s wrong with the entitled well to do in this country
If Trump and many of 1% who inherited there wealth had to start from the ground floor they would have never survived Vietnam without running to Canada, Yet many of his base supporters are folks who fought or would fight for this great country and wouldn’t have spit on him 20 years ago If was on fire ...And now would throw a punch at someone to defend his honor. Are country has a illness and there is no antibiotics for it. Thanks for your thread!

America is #1 again ..leads all of the other Western Nations ....

Here we go,,  backing up a statement with a poll,in an attempt prove the comment is somehow accurate..

This should at the least be from a pollster that has so semblance of getting things correct...yougov.com final poll before the 2016 presidential election had Hillray Clinton with a 4 point lead..

..........and just before the Brexit vote.. YouGov published its referendum voting intention survey , which showed a four-point lead for Remain (44% > 40%)...however they voted to exit..

Fact checking by associated press reveals more Trump lies.

"More people working today than anytime in US history."  Record workforce is driven by population growth.  A more relevant measure is the proportion of americans with jobs.  According to labor department, 60.6% of adults work which is just 0.7% more than the 59.9% when Trump was inaugurated in 2017.  That is below the high of 64.7% in 2000. Most of the decline in unemployment rate occurred during Obama administration because far more jobs were created.

"Wages are rising fast for blue collar workers."  Trump is claiming credit for a trend of rising wages that predates his presidency.  Some of the gains reflect higher minimum wage passed by state governments.  However Trump is opposed to an increase in federal minimum wage.

"Drug prices drop for the first time in 51 years."  Actually, consumer price index and independent studies show normal increasing prices and higher spending for thousands of drugs.

[video from unapproved source] The Defense Logistics Agency could end up paying TransDigm $4,361 for the “drive pin” in a July contract that should cost $46, according to a Pentagon review endorsed by the inspector general.
When I look at Trump I see a Schmuck that emulates all that’s wrong with the entitled well to do in this country   If Trump and many of 1% who inherited there wealth had to start from the ground floor they would have never survived Vietnam without running to Canada, Yet many of his base supporters are folks who fought or would fight for this great country and wouldn’t have spit on him 20 years ago If was on fire ...And now would throw a punch at someone to defend his honor. Trump's schedule for today....

Nothing until he leaves the WH around 5:30 pm for another farking cult rally. He has to get that fragile ego stroked or we'll see another tantrum.

Tweet storm, eating hamberders and watching FOX bullshit.

Trump on tariffs "Tariffs are NOW being paid to the United States on 250 Billion Dollars worth of goods & products. These massive payments go directly to the Treasury of the US."

That is total bullshit. Nearly the entire cost of the import taxes are paid by consumers & businesses.

He's absolutely clueless and worse he's ignorant.

Nine months ago, Trump told a story about an unnamed NYPD cop who thanked him for a "39%" increase in his 401(k), which made the cop's wife think the cop was a "genius" investor. Trump keeps telling the story...except the number keeps increasing. What a farking fraud!

Legal victory for congress as Trump loses lawsuit challenging release of financial records from  his accounting firm.  Historically, courts have repeatedly uphold congress right to investigate for unlawful conduct even without opening impeachment proceeding.

Most innocent people have nothing to hide.  But Trump is afraid of the truth.  Perhaps, Trump isn't as rich as he claims to be?  According to Times, his business lost almost $1 billion over a decade with losses that cannot be explained by capital depreciation.  Banks refuse to lend him money except for those involved in money laundering and organized crime.

Some skills are not easily transferable. Ben should never have accepted the position because he's totally unqualified for this role.

'I don't do cover ups" says President David Dennison. This sounds like "I am not a crook."

I think he meant to say he doesn't do cover ups WELL.

Trump is the most undignified president in my lifetime. His brittle ego can be so easily tweaked that he becomes dangerous.

He promised hiring the best & brightest but has failed miserably. He makes matters worse when he personally attacks former cabinet members like Rex Tillerson once they leave their positions.

Now he refuses to work with Congress because of the investigations of him underway.

He's a disgrace. November 2020 can't come soon enough for our country.

Trump's performance announcing how China will be giving American farmers 16 billion in aid was a disaster. He contradicted himself a number of times within a sentence.

He once again had to remind the world that he is a stable genius.

Move along; nothing to see here.lie
