In the Trumps store, only 15% of the products are made here in the USA.

Whenever money are doing for Donald J. Trump and GOP's own bidding, they are capitalism. All of the rest not to Trump and GOP's advantages are all branded as socialism.


When Trump and GOP passed the 2017 Tax Bill which gave large cooperations and wealthy people huge tax break and ballooned US budget deficit to a record high of over 2 Trillion dollars, what's coming next from GOP?

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is doing the right thing by targeting welfare and entitlement programs for a substantial overhaul..

Unchecked entitlement spending is unsustainable...they are growing at an alarming rate...these programs need to be reformed.

So,why are so many Democrat presidential candidates aggressively promising new entitlement spending?

Giving huge tax break to the large cooperations and wealthy people by Trump and the GOP which have pumped up record high over 2 trillion dollar in national debt and then cutting social security and medicare to partially offset that national debt are the right thing to do, then giving $16 billion entitlement to GOP base is also a right thing to do? Yeah, right, hello hypocrisy.

I agree

I would move to Welfare & stop the generational use of these funds.

I would support "means testing" for Medicare. It became available to me recently but I don't need it & can afford my own medical care. 

However, I would increase Medicaid for those who need it. No one in this country should have to decide between eating or paying for electricity. Doctors & other professionals who assist in defrauding Medicaid should lose their licenses, pay fines & perform community service. 

The Pentagon thinks they are entitled as well & I would take away their checkbook. They have been exposed by the media for ridiculous spending covering decades. A billion here & a billion there adds up pretty quickly.

The Pentagon is weighing legislation that would give contracting officers the power to demand back-up data on spare parts costs after its inspector general said TransDigm Group Inc. could be paid about 9,400% in excess profit for a half-inch metal pin.

The Defense Logistics Agency could end up paying TransDigm $4,361 for the “drive pin” in a July contract that should cost $46, according to a Pentagon review endorsed by the inspector general.

The review found potential excess profits for 98 of 100 parts sampled and concluded the Pentagon may end up paying TransDigm $91 million more in coming years for parts valued at $28 million, with excess profit per part of 95% to the 9,380%, the Defense Department’s inspector general said in an audit labeled “For Official Use Only” and obtained by Bloomberg News.

As the Pentagon weighs whether to recommend legislation to require more disclosure by contractors, the House Committee on Oversight and Reform will review the audit and TransDigm’s pricing policies in a hearing on Wednesday.

Trump just offered a "brand new" Calcasieu River Bridge to Louisiana crowd -- if he wins the election "We'll have it all set to go day one, right after the election." He's literally trying to sell these people a bridge! Dumb!

Just like Mexico is paying for the wall.

Just like 6 steel mill are being built.

Just like the middle class tax break.

Just like his healthcare plan that was ready to go.

This is something I could never understand ...Pentagon over-billing by contractors has been going on for decades...

With all the incompetence in the Pentagon why is it not part of the discussion on deficit reduction ?

....are the law makers in Congress afraid of a military coup?

Maybe that's the view you have from the country you are in ..,,However here in America ..Congress approved and passed The Authorization for the Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002...This joint resolution passed by the United States Congress as Public Law authorizing the use of the United States Armed Forces in Iraq.

By the way,Congress (including the Democrats) approved and funded the spending for the use of military force against Iraq.

Now, if you are interested in an unauthorized wars look no further than 2011 and the illegal and unconstitutional  war in Libya ..

Courts have repeatedly ruled DACA program is legal.   A federal court has ruled again against Trump administration failed attempt to end DACA program.  Deferred action program shields young migrants from deportation and provides a path to US citizenship.  When executive branch violates laws, judicial branch has the right to block illegal orders.

DACA is good policy that would cost US economy billions of dollars if foolishly cancelled.  According to most economists, migrants as workers and consumers are overall positive for US economy.  Past presidents recognize the importance of amnesty.

In regards to DACA ..President Trump has not attempted to break any law... DACA is a policy not a law and as such policies can be changed..

DACA was created by the executive branch, rather than through the legislative process and is an overreach of executive power.

As far as courts repeatedly ruling DACA is legal not so much  The case was heard by Federal Judge Andrew Hanen, who ruled against DACA and placed a national injunction against it’s implementation. Two three judge panels of judges from the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld his verdict, on an appeal to the Supreme Court, who let the ruling stand on a 4-4 vote. In the case of a tie by the Supreme Court, the lower court’s ruling stands.

President Barack Obama lacked the constitutional and legal authority to implement DACA.

In fact Obama even said so in 2011, he acknowledged that he couldn't "just bypass Congress and change the (immigration) law myself. ... That's not how a democracy works."  Yet a year later he did it anyway...

Aluminum & steel tariffs against Canada & Mexico are being lifted.

So what did this tariff accomplish besides hurting all 3 countries? These tariffs were originally levied because of a "national security" issue. What bullshit!

BTW..how is our National Emergency that Trump declared?

He's bragging about trying to ripoff realtors to a group of realtors. What a dope! And he switched his lie in mid-sentence. He was famous for paying 1% but he really didn't. WTF?

Talks of impeachment are ridiculous. Not only would it allow Trump to play the victim, a role he relishes, Dems don't have the votes in the Senate because there are not enough courageous Republicans willing to make that move.

Given enough time, the Dems will screw this up.
