People will not forget, that in the Republican Party's attempt to overturn Obamacare..John McCain, betrayed his party ... the people who voted for him (on his promise to repeal and replace Obamacare)...and the parties leader ... He is the Benedict Arnold of the Republican party for abandoning his principles to enact revenge.. and thus becoming every liberals darling.. Great man indeed...
Should his loyalty be to his party or to his country? Obamacare is definitely has flaws but atleast it's something and repealing it w/o an immediate replacement is a mistake and a disservice to all Americans, regardless of political affiliation.

Perhaps to some he was a war hero, however saying he was a great man is really a stretch..
A lot of folks feel differently about even that. For example:
Here is the truth about John "songbird" McCain:
A “war hero” doesn’t finish 894th out of 899 and still get stationed at a Navy champagne unit and promoted ahead of all but two of his 898 other classmates. A “war hero” doesn’t crash three U.S. Navy jets out of sheer incompetence and ineptitude, including two during non-combat training sessions. A “war hero” doesn’t get written up on drunk-and-disorderly, fraternization, disobeying orders, and insubordination charges more than two dozen times in less than three years. A “war hero” doesn’t get promoted to squadron commander of the air field named after his own grandfather immediately after crashing his third airplane. A “war hero” doesn’t have all the military records that cover his time in Vietnam and all disciplinary actions against him censored and sealed “as a matte r of national security.” A “war hero” doesn’t get 28 medals awarded all after-the-fact “for bravery” for no other reason than being shot down and captured and then go on a celebrity public relations tour because he’s the son of two acclaimed Navy admirals. A “war hero” doesn’t repeatedly cheat on the wife who’s back in the states waiting for him, and then cheat on her more when he returns to the states, and then divorce and abandon her. A “war hero” doesn’t systematically vote against every single pay and benefit increase for military and veterans throughout his entire political career, all the while claiming to be “the soldier’s Congressman,” and then take credit for the passage of a G.I. benefits bill he that voted AGAINST. A “war hero” McCain III lost jet number one in 1958 when he plunged into Corpus Christi Bay while practicing landings. He was knocked unconscious by the impact coming to as the plane settled to the bottom. McCain’s second crash occurred while he was deployed in the Mediterranean. “Flying too low over the Iberian Peninsula,” Timberg wrote, “he took out some power lines [reminiscent of the 1998 incident in which a Marine Corps jet sliced through the cables of a gondola at an Italian ski resort, killing 20] which led to a spate of newspaper stories in which he was predictably identified as the son of an admiral.” McCain’s third crash three occurred when he was returning from flying a Navy trainer solo to Philadelphia for an Army-Navy football game. Timberg reported that McCain radioed, “I’ve got a flameout” and went through standard relight procedures three times before ejecting at one thousand feet. McCain landed on a deserted beach moments before the plane slammed into a clump of trees. McCain’s fifth loss happened during his 23rd mission over North Vietnam on Oct. 26, 1967, when McCain’s A-4 Skyhawk was shot down by a surface-to-air missile. McCain ejected from the plane breaking both arms an d a leg in the process and subsequently parachuted into Truc Bach Lake near Hanoi. For 23 combat missions (an estimated 20 hours over enemy territory), the U.S. Navy awarded McCain a Silver Star, a Legion of Merit for Valor, a Distinguished Flying Cross, three Bronze Stars, two Commendation medals plus two Purple Hearts and a dozen service medals. “McCain had roughly 20 hours in combat,” explains Bill Bell, a veteran of Vietnam and former chief of the U.S. Office for POW/MIA Affairs — the first official U.S. representative in Vietnam since the 1973 fall of Saigon. “Since McCain got 28 medals,” Bell continues, “that equals out to about a medal-and-a-half for each hour he spent in combat. There were infantry guys — grunts on the ground — who had more than 7,000 hours in combat and I can tell you that there were times and situations where I’m sure a prison cell would have looked pretty good to them by comparison."

Trump's temper tantrums are becoming more & more frequent. He knows what he has done illegally in his life just like everyone else on this planet knows what if anything gthey have done.. But now the whole world would find out how despicable he is. Stealing from a charity is pretty low but although it may be hard to believe, I think he may have done worse things. He declined paying for medical insurance for a family member against his dad's wishes. That's pretty lousy as well.
Trump has proven he is not careful with matches. His whole political career has been based on his racist birther lies about President O & it is mind boggling that so any Americans believed (and may still believe) that bullshit. He rewrites history & Congress allows him to get away with it. They are morally corrupt & cowards.
No matter who becomes President in 2020, they will have some mess on their hands as well as a deficit that is getting worse every day.
He is a desperate man who is disrespectful of what most Americans hold dear.

How's the Russian thing going M1? Are you sick of being played for a sucker yet? 2 years of being told he's a treasonous sob?
America holds being a patriotic American dear and protecting something so special instead of letting it be overrun by people from other countries breaking in.

I was reading Gambling Today newsletter this morning & came across something I didn't know about Carl Icahn. He's been slowly adding shares of Caesars to his portfolio. He owns about 18%. He sees the Caesars brand as the best in the gaming industry with over 50 million members in their Caesars Reward program. Many of these members are part of the Harrah's marketing muscle & their Total Rewards program. He has been able to add 3 new board members & he has their ears & balls in his hand.
Owner of the Houston Rockets & Landry's hospitality, Morton's Steakhouse etc offered $13 a share for Caesars but was rejected. They are currently @ $8.37 a share.
My point is Icahn loves "brand name" companies that are undervalued in his estimation. He has huge holdings in Dell, Hertz & Xerox for example.
He had a bromance with Trump & like many others he made money & moved on to other opportunities. He badgered the EPA to get regulations lifted in the oil industry. Just like Trump, Icahn likes to keep score & get even with those he believed wronged him in the past. He doesn't need any more than the 18 billion he has but like Trump he rather be feared than respected.
A partner of Icahn's once said "Carl wants to own the only fire truck in town. Then when your house is up in flames, he can take you for everything you have."
Sounds like a real nice guy huh?

34 people & 3 companies indicted as well as a number already convicted isn't a bad scorecard & it's not over yet.
Stay tuned B

The question arises:Is it better to be feared or respected ? If you can't be both ..it's better to be feared..
Better how?
Hitler was feared & just look at how many attempts on his life to place. The coward ended up committing suicide. How about feared mob bosses? Punks look to make a name for themselves by performing a hit on the boss.

Big retailers like Target & Walmart are looking to reduce property taxes in northern New York. They have won similar decisions in the Midwest that negatively impacts the revenue of suburban towns & school districts. The burden moves to the taxpayers.
Don't be surprised if it comes to your neighborhood soon.

Trump went on a tangent about how he did not like the longtime senator and former Republican presidential candidate, saying McCain did nothing for veterans and calling McCain a hypocrite for his last-minute vote to torpedo the GOP’s effort to repeal the Affordable Care Act.
“I gave him the kind of funeral he wanted, which, as president, I had to approve,” Trump said. “I don’t care about this, but I didn’t get a thank you.”
And he went on a tear against renewable energy as well, claiming that people who live next to wind turbines see their property values decrease significantly.
Wind turbines are not typically found in residential neighborhoods and instead are clustered on farms in the country, including outside Lima.
But Wednesday’s appearance wasn’t supposed to be a political event and it often showed. His attacks were often met with only half-hearted enthusiasm and even outright silence from the audience, a far cry from his campaign rallies where throngs of supporters praise his every word.
In his speech to the around 1,000 employees, Trump said the workers at the Lordstown GM factory, which up until its recent shuttering produced the Chevy Cruze, didn’t try to save the facility. GM announced the Lordstown plant’s shutdown in November as part of a plan to lay off more than 14,000 workers in the United States and Canada.
“They could’ve kept that gorgeous plant,” Trump said. “Lower your dues. Lower your dues.”
His statements about union dues are curious. Union dues are paid by employees, not by the company.

Hitler was feared ,,,however soon as his powers weakened, his followers abandoned him... because the fear of punishment was not present...
Not so with Stalinist, the Soviet society never dared to revolt
against him. He created an order of fear through the Soviet society; no
one even dared to challenge his endeavors.
So... strongest leader is one who can be feared and respected, the next best is one who can be feared, the weakest is one who
depends on respect alone...

Yeah, Trump no nothing about how thing work in the real world. Hearing him talk about dues must've been comical to that crowd. Hearing him blame them must've been insulting.

I bet Hillary would have at least stood in front of the mound and underhanded one to the plate for Opening Day.... nothing sadder than a grown man that can't throw a ball

To know how to throw a ball, you have to have played ball. Trump has never played ball with anybody. Closest he probably came as a kid is when he bought a ball at the store. Then he probably took his ball home when nobody picked him on their team.
Bottom line the subject is moot. Trump, as POTUS, doesn't even have the security rating of an NSA agent. That's why Obama couldn't do diick to Snowden. Reps and Dems are like two fleas on an elephant's azz... Arguing over who owns the elephant.

Back in the 1960s, when President Trump attended the New York Military Academy he was good enough at baseball to be scouted by not only the Phillies, but also by the Boston Red Sox..
His former coach, Col. Ted Dobias says Trump was the star first baseman for Dobias' varsity squad. 'He was good-hit and good-field'
Last year..in baseball historian Curt Smith's new book, “The Presidents and the Pastime: The History of Baseball and the White House''..Smith said Trump’s skill as a baseball player was one of the great unreported stories of the 2016 election.
President Trump has thrown out first pitches in the past.. He threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the start of the
game between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees in 2006.
Before the 1980's Presidents threw a ball from his/her place in the grandstand to the pitcher or
catcher of the home team,.. not in front of the pitcher's mound towards home plate...

The TV talking heads keep spouting about when the Mueller report will be completed but like everyone else, they have no clue. Rick Gates, who evidently is still singing a tune Mueller wants to hear, probably knows as much as Manafort because they were attached by the hip just like Laurel & Hardy, like Abbott & Costello and like Captain and Tennille.

Anyone who looks like this when they throw should stay off the diamond I guess. Looks like he is shitting his pants, then again, I bet any physical exertion would exhaust his portly @ss

Before the 1980's Presidents threw a ball from his/her place in the grandstand to the pitcher or
catcher of the home team,.. not in front of the pitcher's mound towards home plate...
Anyone who looks like this when they throw should stay off the diamond I guess. Looks like he is shitting his pants, then again, I bet any physical exertion would exhaust his portly @ss

I bet Hillary would have at least stood in front of the mound and underhanded one to the plate for Opening Day.... nothing sadder than a grown man that can't throw a ball
He would rather pay someone to do it. It is beneath him.Just like his base but they are just too damn stupid to figure it out.
