I'm not crazy about ballplayers taking a knee during the national anthem. I don't like it one bit.

I don't have the answer but I would rather they find another way to make their point.

Whereas,today.. Dr.Fauci a member of President Trump's corona virus team.. tossed out the ceremonial first pitch before the Washington Nationals and New York Yankees opened the 2020 Major League Baseball season 

Unfortunately the pitch did not go well for the Doctor.. He fumbled the pitch, curved it into the ground and it rolled over the first base line about 12 feet from home plate..

But, fortunately for Fauci there was nobody there to boo ..unless you want to count the cardboard cut-out fans placed in the stands...of course they were wearing face masks..

Midnight. I'm with you.  People watch sports to escape for few hours.   Other platforms can be used.  

Kneeling during the National Anthem in a protest over anything ..will never get my sympathy ..just the opposite.

Here's something you could not make up..no one would believe you  ..After throwing out the first pitch on Thursday at the Nationals ballpark in Washington, D.C..,Dr. Fauci (he lefts most admired Doctor,),then got to sit in the stands for the game..with a few people.. with his mask down below his chin..He’s not only got his mask down, but he’s shoulder to shoulder with these two people.When he thinks the cameras are off, Fauci makes a mockery of his “social distancing” ....

Were they family and/or close friends?

Dr.Fauci he had been sitting next to his wife, Dr. Christine Grady, and a friend of his.

 New York Magazine and Huffington Post contributing writer Yashar Ali reprimanded the doctor.

"Dr. Fauci should be setting a better example,"

I guess to Dr.Fauci friends of his are immune to catching the virus..and he from them..Oh well do as I say...not as ...

They have said from the beginning that small gatherings of close friends are acceptable. And obviously significant others that you have been cooped up in the same bed with, family in the same house with, are acceptable. I go out. Not gonna drag this dude for being with close friends and family who, let's face it, have all probably been tested multiple times. If I was in the same state as my friends, i'd be seeing them at this point.

Probably /maybe,,but we don't know how well tested this friend is ..since the press never named him..do you have some added information about this person,so we could check this out ?

Also .,whatever they said at the beginning may not apply now and that would also be pertinent to what State you are in at the time..

For instance:

Since ,the ball game was played in Washington, D.C. the mayor of DC Muriel Bowser has an order, that requires all District residents wear face masks when they are out in public. Basically,it says ,if you leave home, you should be wearing a mask..

That has always been the main point. trump's bad example.

But I do understand desperate partisan-righties trying to deflect attention from trump's multiple failures.

To their logic, pointing fingers at others removes any responsibility/accountability from trump.

Dr. Fauci is the infectious diseases expert.....he above all others should lead by example..and not remove his mask.. just because he thinks the the camera's are off.
