I can't stress enough that I do not support or have any sympathy for rioters but I don't have to watch CNN or Fox News. I can watch the local news for this story. And I will tell you unequivocally that those agents have not simply been protecting federal property. They've even been on the east side no where near federal buildings.

The local news out of Portland. Pick a channel. Portland is the closest big city to me and the local news is pretty much the only news I can stomach. The mrs has the national news on at times but neither of us watch CNN, Fox News, ect. so as far as what CNN would deem a significant point, I couldn't tell you.
Stu. With all due respect, I don't think anyone would call what as occurred here in the USA or Portland over the past two months as peaceful protesting. Under our constitution, we are given the right to gather for peaceful protests. It seems to me that a very large number of people are on the streets for the "theatre" of it all (to witness the riots and violence live) as opposed to doing any peaceful protesting. Democratic leadership has let this go on far too long.
If you want to avoid trouble, don't be in places where trouble is happening. We simply have too many people on the streets with NOTHING BETTER TO DO because they don't lead productive (working) lives and are seeking to be entertained.
Let's not even get into the fact that we have a pandemic going on.
First of all, Bernie, Warren and AOC will not be "dictating" policy. I prefer them over Mitch, Cruz & Jordan. Biden was our VP & of course he has experience in foreign relations and he has much more than anyone in the Trump administration including Trump. We agree on term limits. Dinosaurs are extinct, dangerous & should not become "career" politicians. Joe wasn't the only option whereas Trump is yours. Joe was the "best" option and will surround himself with qualified people which IMO is extremely important. As far as the new breed, yea they can be scary. For every AOC there is a Matt Gaetz. So it kind of balances itself out.
