The US military and President Trump destroyed ISIS at some point in time. Let our 50 or so volunteer warriors come home. They completed their mission. Trump is right. The recently activated Marines might need help defending treasonous forces inside the Homeland.

This is the duty of the military. Trump is using his executive powers legally and can use these funds at his discretion for national security. The courts have already ruled to this effect. Why are they (the military) not suggesting the construction funds be diverted to cover deployment expenses, so that they can "defend" the country? We have tens of thousands of army and marine personnel in the Southeastern U.S., and thousands more across the country that are not exactly eager to get to the border. If it were the Russians or Chinese invading, would they then decide it was time to defend the border, or do as they are now, and leave it up to others? If there is a military emergency, why is there NO military response? Your argument holds no water; because the military want nothing to do with the problem. Their Commander in Chief will not deploy them because HE does not consider it a military priority.
