I think there are 3 things we can all agree upon...

1. Trump will get impeached in the House.

2. Trump will not be convicted in the Senate.

3. If Trump does not win in 2020, SDNY will be ready to move forward & prosecute him on multiple charges.

Agree or disagree?

BTW..for horse players, Maximum Security (DQ'd in the Derby) will be the big favorite in the Cigar Mile Race 10 at Aqueduct tomorrow. Just in case he falters, I'll box him with Pletcher's & Brown's colts . The play is ex/tri box 2-5-8-9 for $36.

Trump is anti-democracy.  Many disturbing examples of his disregard for democratic norms and practices.  He considers himself above the law.  His suggestion of self pardon smacks of tyranny.   Never before has a president so blatently attack legitimacy of free press and media that criticizes him.  Political opponents are branded criminals to be locked up.  He incites violence against protestors and launches purges within his own government.  He publicly attacks and insults anyone.

Furthermore, Trump refuses to recognize congress authority to exercise its constitutional responsibilities.  He obstructs justice by undermining Mueller investigation and blocks employees from testifying in impeachment inquiry. He diverts authorized spending by congress to other programs such as border wall.  He starts a trade war by raising tariffs and subsidizing farmers without congress approval.  Increased use of fake emergency and security declarations to bypass congress.  He interferes in state rights to govern such as California auto emissions.  Under Trump, democracy has declined and America moves toward fascism.

I agree on all 3 and unless the messiah returns or a catastrophic event come to call I see Trump as a solid favorite to be in on a second term. I live in Nj as we speak and most garden state voters  they are and have been a democratic leaning for years but you would be surprised at how may folks that think the Ukraine phone call was frivolous and think that Trump is legally able to not have his innermost players not answering subpoenas. The democrats do not have candidate that Appeals to working folks that already have healthcare on there workplaces... that’s a big deal no one wants there form of benefits screwed with..

Joe, Capitalism has provided more opportunity and brought more people out of poverty than any economic model in mankind. So , no, there is no "hybrid" approach.  "Hybrid" simply implies state intervention (cheating) in Capitalism... i.e. the Chinese Model . ...

I highly doubt this many people would support the confiscation of one's wealth.  If so, do people really think a wealth tax starts and ends w the millionaires and billionaires ?

I have no problem paying more in taxes if it indeed goes to those who need a helping hand. I've never in my life paid this much in taxes but that's because I've been very lucky in life with people mentoring/helping me along the way.

We've taken care of our family for the future, so my wife & I give to Meals on Wheels, Veterans & animal shelters. Personally, I like to do my capping in local bars & anonymously pick up the tab for others with the message given by the bartender for them to pay it forward. 40 bucks here & there doesn't impact my life but it might help others.

Confiscation of our wealth is a no no no. I much rather decide who gets it.

Recent justice department report justifies investigations of Trump's campaign russian ties.  Truth undercuts fake conspiracy theories.  Actuallly, FBI had authorized purpose to open probe to protect against suspected crime or threat to national security.  No basis for Trump's claim of a deep state plot to prevent him from becoming president.  FBI opened probe because of Padopoulos and russian interference in US election.  Not Steele dossier.    No evidence of FBI spying on Trump campaign.  No evidence FBI political bias affected the probe.

The IG report says Spygate was the hoax. It was all concocted by Trump and his minions to distract from the tough truth: Trump aided and abetted Russia's attack on the United States.

NEWS ALERT: anonymous source within FOX "News" is reporting that Hannity, Ingraham and Tucker will be issuing on air apologies to the American public for their blatant and repeated disinformation campaigns attacking the FBI.

In weather news, a snow storm was reported in HELL.
