After the 2016 election I lost faith in polls.

If he handled it like Governors Cuomo & Newsom, he would have been a shoe in to win. But his constant lying has taken a toll & during a crisis Americans want to hear the truth from the president whether it is good or bad.

Grim reality in New York City. We need to do so many cremations wooden caskets take too long to burn. "It would be better if everybody just used a simple cardboard box,” said one director of a NYC cremation facility.

Trump said he believes there's a lot of cheating with mail-in voting and that people need to show up in person, with an ID. But that's baseless. 33 states already have some form of mail-in absentee voting for all. And no demonstrated, widespread fraud.

He wasted money on this same voter fraud conspiracy in 2016. He's already building his excuse for losing in November.

Iowa governor Kim Reynolds says her refusal to issue a shelter-in-place order has become a "divisive issue"; chastises Dr. Fauci for saying all states should implement one: "I would say that maybe he doesn’t have all the information."

What is wrong with all these ignorant Republican Governors? So Governor, tell us what the good doctor is missing.

With Americans besieged by a deadly communicable disease and the economy in ruins, what is Donald Trump’s argument for reelection right now? Four years ago the job market was strong and I could safely leave my house to do things. We all know he will blame something/someone else and he already told us he doesn't take any responsibility.

I know I'm better at washing my hands than I was 4 years ago.

430,000 people traveled from China to the US since the virus surfaced. There were 1,300 direct flight to 17 different cities prior to Trump's travel restrictions. Since then, nearly 40,000 Americans & authorized personnel returned to the US.

An Inspector General’s job is to investigate and report on waste, fraud, and abuse. Not to be complicit in it. Michael Atkinson did his job and was fired for it.

He made sure Congress was aware of the whistle blower's complaint re: Trump's quid pro quo call with the Ukraine.

The White House got its first formal notification about coronavirus on Jan 3. Within days, US spy agencies were signaling the seriousness of the threat by including the first of many warnings in the President’s Daily Brief per the Washington Post.

Denial hasn't been a successful strategy.

In early February, deputy NSC adviser Matt Pottinger wanted to ban travel to Europe as more cases popped up. He was backed by health officials like Fauci. But Mnuchin and others pushed back over concerns about the economy and prevailed.

More and more information is coming out indicating Trump was listening more to his economy people rather than his medical experts. The task force had a former pharmaceutical lobbyist in Azar way in over his head when Trump made the decision to have the Princess Bride Pence become the front man which didn't last long. Trump now leads the daily press conferences whiled bringing a mishmosh of people on stage including Mr. Pillow.

Additional info will dribble out about the disaster within the CDC.

During a Feb. 27 call to resolve testing issues, an FDA official lashed out at the CDC because of a failure to meet basic quality control standards. He told them if he were inspecting a commercial entity, "I would shut you down."

During a Feb. 27 call to resolve testing issues, an FDA official lashed out at the CDC because of a failure to meet basic quality control standards. He told them if he were inspecting a commercial entity, "I would shut you down."

The SBA (Small Business Association) does not have the technical interfaces to communicate with banks (lenders) for those applicants looking for a business loan. And you must apply at the bank where you currently do business.

Wells Fargo is not yet setup to accept loans.

This is going to be a long tedious process but hang in there.

The only official in the entire government who has been publicly disciplined to date for mishandling the coronavirus is a Navy officer who acted to save his crew from an outbreak.

In WWII a soldier would carry a donkey because the fields were mined & if the donkey was free, it would likely detonate a charge & kill everyone. So during difficult times the first ones you have to keep under control are the jackasses who don't understand the danger & do as they please.

More comments about the ‘donkey story’:

Once again the Democrats are carried on the backs of hardworking Americans.

Donkeys and horses were actually considered more important than the soldiers, which is also why they were the first ones to get gas masks put on.

Despots: Good, good, obey, obey, little slaves. Lock yourselves up and wreck your economy over a virus that has 98% survivability rate. Can't believe how easy that was.

Actually they were following the donkeys tracks back to the village, those donkeys were trained to spot mines and walk around them, trust me, I was the air.

Sounds like something a Libtard would post thinking they are gonna make a difference in the world or think they hav some sort of authority. Don’t like parties? Or people? Stay home and quit calling the cops on me

as someone who hasn't taken social distancing seriously, I feel personally attacked that no one has offered for carry me

French troops, not WW2, but North Africa post WW2. The donkey was wounded.

So what you're saying is we need to let the Democrats ride on our back before we all die.

In survival situations, the first thing you do is get the idiots to do an odd and useless task, my fave to give is " bring ten stones each weighing ten pounds"

Sometimes you gotta put the jackass down for the greater good.

That’s also a baby donkey, it’s probably just to stupid to follow

Till the one carrying the donkey steps on one and sends that jack ass sky high

Freedom shouldn't get restrictions if theres a national emergency. You are responsible for your own health and safety

Screw that, let the jack asses run in there by themselves and blow up the mines then you have a clear field to walk through.

Are you calling me a jackass because we are on forced lockdown

The jackasses now are the people running around saying they are immune

Guilty. I'm going to Walmart and follow shoppers closely.

The funniest part about this post is that anyone who allows themselves to be controlled or attempts to control others, are the ones that mess everything up for everyone else

Was at work. Supervisors saying get away from the time clock so people can clock in. Some jerk said no, I’m not afraid of Corona Virus... I’m not “afraid” of it either. Just don’t want to be a carrier, idiot

Until they realize it wasnt a minefield to begin with

Haha!!  You can’t believe this confused

This might be the most hilarious thing I’ve read on here in a while.  Make your mind up.  Either they work or they don’t.  You can make the argument they weren’t early enough or strict enough — but you can’t say they aren’t effective.  Quarantining has been used as tried and true AND effective for centuries for a reason — it works!

    For example:

On March 14, Zahara cut itself off from the outside world as a dangerous coronavirusspread its tentacles across Spain. The mayor, 40-year-old Santiago Galván, decided to block all but one of the town's five entrances. Galván acted the day that Spain's "state of alarm" came into force.

Since then, the country has recorded more than 100,000 cases and 10,000 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins Universityfigures.

In Zahara, however, there has not been a single recorded case of Covid-19 among its 1,400 inhabitants. "It has been more than two weeks, and I think that's a good sign," Galván told CNN.

The mayor's drastic steps have the full support of the townspeople, and especially the elderly. Nearly a quarter of Zahara's inhabitants are older than 65; there are more than 30 residents in an old people's home. Towns and villages nearby have seen infections and several coronavirus fatalities.

Trump claims that there is "very strong, very powerful testing" going on of passengers on domestic flights. A reporter follows up: "I talked to the airlines and they have no idea what you're talking about." Trump responds, "Okay well then check up again," and moves on.

Hey NIGHTMARE... it's none of your business what type of work Raiders does.

Your effort at distraction is painfully obvious.   Why  not simply engage in debate ?  (Answer: because you can't.   It always develops into name calling without fail)

That is his main issue I believe. He does not want to talk or debate with any of use. He just keeps spamming and posting info he finds online which useless or already known 95% of the time. Name-calling is all he can do, realize that whenever he identifies a problem, he goes straight to blaming people instead of providing a way to fix it. Classis leftist issue. Its all mindset.

It was probably the same picture you saw online with the soldier carrying the donkey — that had the quote.  Obviously that was not what was going on.  But it still was making a good point.

The rest were some funny comments with the picture.
