I think he would be a good one, along with RFK, and maybe a couple of GOP-types, etc.
But if he were to be the DEM candidate I think he would win. I think he would bring in all of the moderate DEMs. The extreme radical Left would eventually come around -- just to vote against Trump. I think the DEMs do a much better job of rallying behind whomever is their last candidate standing than the GOP does.
But the key to me is I think he could bring in some of the Independent vote that does not want to vote for Biden or Trump. I also think he might bring in some of the never-Trump folks.
I just feel he would, for sure, be more of a 'uniter' than Trump or Biden. I think we need more candidates that seem to have common sense that might be willing to compromise on things that should be reasonably comprised on.
I may very well be wrong and have misread him completely.

Yeah, I'm really surprised at how poorly he fared over the campaign. I thought it would be more of a heavyweight matchup between him and Trump, but turned into nothing of the sort. I think he shined against Haley w a 1-on -1 debate, but struggled to be the shining star on a crowded debate stage that had 8 or 9 candidates early on. His personality is much more serious than Trump ( and not surprisingly, as a military guy), and I think that can take some time to warm up to...
His time will come, in either 4 or 8 years IMHO.
