Eric S. Lander, the president's top science adviser, resigned Monday evening after acknowledging that he had demeaned and disrespected his colleagues, behavior that undermined President Biden’s pledge to immediately fire any official who acted that way.

“The president accepted Dr. Eric Lander’s resignation letter this evening with gratitude,” Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary, said in a statement. “He knows that Dr. Lander will continue to make important contributions to the scientific community in the years ahead.”

People like him who "demeaned and disrespected his colleagues" REPEATEDLY should not be in office.

Thankfully, one of those turds was voted OUT of office by over 81 million Americans in November 2020

Bipartisan vote passes USPS overhaul bill

Washington (CNN)The House on Tuesday passed a sweeping
bipartisan bill that would overhaul the US Postal Service's finances
and allow the agency to modernize its service.
The Postal Service Reform Act -- which cleared the House by 342-92 --
would require retired postal employees to enroll in Medicare when
eligible, while dropping a previous mandate that forced the agency
to cover its health care costs years in advance.

Those two measures would save the USPS
nearly  $50 Billion over the next decade,
according to the House Oversight Committee.

The unexpected strength of the January jobs report — along with some revisions in readings for November and December — pushed Biden way over the 6 million mark!

Biden administration offers help to Canada to resolve illegal protests over vaccine mandates.  US departments of transportation and homeland security urge Canada to use all federal powers to end blockades at ports of entry disrupting jobs and economy of both countries. Car makers and local authorities are seeking court injunction to end blockade of Ambassador bridge.  Ontario court has stopped protesters from accessing online donations.   Absurd that protests are disrupting people's freedom which is what the protests are supposed to stop.

That is good news, but even better would be to remove Louis DeJoy and appoint a competent person in his place.

Liberal logic: Lockdowns and mandates didn’t disrupt people’s freedoms … but the truckers protests do. 

Right wing media is not only applauding this disruption but actually encouraging it to continue and begin here as well. This disruption of cross border goods with our largest trading partner is causing economic impacts here and our prices to increase.  It is actually adding to record inflation.      I won't cheer for that.

Record inflation was here long before the protest started. 

And this disruption is adding to that record inflation making it worse.

That's the point.

I won't cheer for that.  No sane person would.

But you probably cheered for mandates and lock downs before you even realized the long term effects of what might happen to counties when they shut down production while consumers still consume. Now your CNN is going to make you believe that inflation is because of truckers protesting while you put 0 critical thinking into why inflation might be here. Guess what, it's not the truckers protesting. Imagine if truckers get fired for not taking their 8th booster. This protest is highlighting what may continue with mandates. Mandates are taking jobs away. 

Can you answer why someone who is vaxed can take their mask off in doors next week, but those who are not vaxed are supposed to keep theirs on?

US President Joe Biden will provide an update on Russia/Ukraine
at 1 p.m. ET, the White House said.

The White House is expected to announce a new set of sanctions
against Russia after President Vladimir Putin ordered Russian troops
into two separatist pro-Moscow regions in eastern Ukraine after
recognizing their independence on Monday.

Global markets tumbled and crude oil prices surged to $99 per barrel on Tuesday after Russia ordered troops into parts of eastern Ukraine.
Brent crude, the global benchmark, surged 3.8% to $99.17 per barrel.

Russia is one of the world's biggest producers of oil.
It is also a major exporter of natural gas.

Western countries would likely respond to a Russian invasion of Ukraine with punishing sanctions that could cut Russian banks off from the global financial system and make it more difficult for the country to export its oil and gas.

The United States, the United Kingdom, Ukraine and several EU countries have opposed the pipeline since it was announced in 2015, warning the project would increase Moscow's influence in Europe.

Nord Stream 2 could deliver 55 billion cubic meters of gas per year. That's more than 50% of Germany's annual consumption and could be worth as much as $15 billion to Gazprom (in lost revenues), the Russian state owned company that controls the pipeline.
