I've been a volunteer for Val Demings in Florida in her race against Rubio. Donations are pouring in & those in FLA will see an advertising blitz to finally get rid of Little Marco.

First John Fetterman pulled out to a big lead. Then Raphael Warnock and Tim Ryan took leads in their races. Then Mandela Barnes and Val Demings pulled ahead. And now Cheri Beasley is in a tie in North Carolina.
So tell me again how Republicans are going to sweep the midterms?

and this admin has done more good for america in 18 months than any in the same time frame .
way more
but it just wont matter enuf

You raise a good point, Kelly. It almost doesn't matter who is in the White House or which party, because with rare exception in post WW2, the party of the newest president always loses seats in the first midterm. It's automatic. It's not about the actual performance of the party in power or the president. It happens regardless.
The problem is our new polarized world of politics. The country will just as automatically stagnate the succeeding two years because almost nothing will pass. We will fall even further behind other nations, particularly China.
Whenever we get the next new president, the same thing will happen to his party in his first midterm. Either the house or the senate or both will automatically flip over.
But in an odd twist, that fact doesn't seem to matter in the succeeding midterm or presidential election..

Tonight Marco Rubio sent a note to his constituents "begging" (his word not mine) for donations.
We are going to kick his ass out of Washington!

cut from cnn :: ' wholesale gasoline futures on Monday for November and December deliveries point to retail prices falling to below $3 for many states at the end of this year. '
Seems to be headed in that direction. Even if it doesn't quite get there it's still great news for Americans and the economy.

(CNN)Lower gas prices helped consumer confidence bounce back in August, breaking a three-month stretch of worsening sentiment. The Conference Board's monthly snapshot of consumer attitudes improved, rising to 103.2 from July's downwardly revised 95.3. The August number matches the level it reached in May and marks the first time since then that the headline index broke 100, the historical baseline metric

Welp, if nothing else he sure does beat the heck out of the (republican) alternative in 2020.

Biden isn't the perfect candidate, but given the republican alternative at the time (Donald "adolf" Trump) then Biden was the far better choice. Even many republicans acknowledge this fact.
Since then, in just 1.7 years, Biden admin has achieved more for Americans (all, not just one party, or just the wealthy) than any president in history.
