A bad recession is coming regardless of who is in the Whitehouse.... Trump, Biden, Kamala, The Rock.... doesn't matter, it is not a function of the President.
Trump could be in the Whitehouse and a recession would still be on the horizon. It has everything to do with the FEDERAL RESERVE and the actions taken in the 08/09 bailouts followed by the 2019 hedge fund blow ups bailouts that you, I and everyone else paid for with our tax money. Covid money printing and supply chain induced inflation, on going deglobalization has created imbedded high inflation for long period to come. Interest rates will continue to rise.....lots of damage to still come. It is not a partisan issue, we are all going to feel it.

Jobs data coming out tomorrow....expect the unexpected.
Hint; the jobs number has been inflated due to the elevated boom in the construction industry. This number has fallen dramatically recently and expectations are it is going to impact much more negatively than anticipated here in the short term. Might not be tomorrow but it is right around the corner.
My commentary is data driven, non-partisan, factual economic truths. Not partisan fairy tale nonsense that only the brain washed cultists believe is detrimental to society as a whole.
It is not about "positive" or "negative" news. It is about "truth" and "factual" news. Pretending everything is fine and we have nothing to worry about is counter productive to progress in society and those who subscribe to that view are only fueling the problems and doing nothing to help with solutions.

Members of the January 6 committee saw reason to believe that
other top aides to Donald Trump should face criminal charges
not recommended by the committee in its final sessions,
an investigator for the now-defunct panel says.
In an interview with The New York Times published Sunday,
the panel’s lead investigator Timothy Heaphy said that other
top aides to Mr Trump who were not targeted in referrals to
the Justice Department for criminal prosecution could face
