Why do you continue to thoroughly embarrass yourself with ridiculous information? Do you see another country that will pay 1T in interest on their debt?

It’s the largest monthly drop since April 2020, when the trump admin allowed the Covid-19 virus to rapidly spread over the country without meaningful federal intervention - causing a severe economic contraction.

I expect this downward trend to moderate for awhile before continuing a slow drop and interest rates to follow a similar path.  But believe it or not there will be some rocky impact for a time if Trump gets criminally convicted before the election.

Since wages are rising, this Thanksgiving dinner is the 4th cheapest as a percentage of average earnings.  Every year since 1986, American farm bureau has tracked the typical cost of a basket of Thanksgiving food, including turkey, potato, gravy, green peas, cranberries, stuffing and pumpkin pie.  Current grocery inflation is at its lowest point in two years.

Who cares !!?!?   Tell me how that makes the American Consumer feel any better.  More Americans are holding "Biden" responsible for inflation, and rightfully so (i.e. Bidenflation).

The dotards that are consistently pointing out falling inflation are failing to consider this falling inflation "is on top of the sky-high inflation of the last few years."

Food inflation is particularly nasty at anywhere from 30-50% higher than it was in 2019.    an_light

So, tell me where is this "postive news" for America from Biden.  "Bidenflation" has been a disaster for America, and there are already indications that voters, particularly ones that DEMs can always count on, like black voters & minorities,  are looking to flip their vote Republican.   an_clap

The writing is on the wall for Biden ; the damage has already been done to the American Consumer.

US economy is pretty good by most economic measures according to Center for economic and policy research.  Given that Biden administration is unlucky to inherit a mess from Trump.  Despite the barest of majority in congress, implementing American rescue plan ensures a quick recovery instead of slow painful path to full employment from the great recession.  As a result, US is the only major economy that is largely back to its pre-pandemic growth path.  So overall picture is positive.

Does your " supposed analysis " include an economy under Trump that was recovering from a pandemic "" with a growing GDP WITH Low Inflation"" .

But dipshit Joe felt the need to add Trillions of dollars of fiscal spending to an already recovering economy that didn't need it.

The inflation problem was largely avoidable w some fiscal responsibility.

That will prove to be Joe's ultimate demise. peace_5

The UAW getting concessions from the BIG 3 auto companies had a ripple effect throughout the industry which I didn't see reported in the media or business channels.

Hyundai, Nissan, Honda, Toyota, and VW announced raises for their non-union factory workers.

It proves how vital organized labor is in our society. Will the companies find creative ways to increase the cost of their product, sure. But the additional cost will be levied by all auto companies where price is not necessarily the dominant factor in making a sale.

Biden inherited the worst pandemic in over a century and damaged US economy struggling with millions of Americans unemployed.  Blame Biden for inflation?  New York federal reserve doubts Biden's American rescue plan add much to inflation.  Most of government stimuli spending occurred before Biden took office.  For examples, CARES act, job protection program and response relief act.  Usually 1-2 years lag between higher government spending and higher inflation.  Besides, other factors affect inflation such as supply chain disruption, labor shortage, tariffs on imported goods and consumer demand from recovering economy.    Since the great depression, Biden continues trend of US economy faring better under democrat presidents than republican presidents.

ummm , yeah, if their input costs are rising ( via higher wages), those costs "will" be passed on to the consumer.   There's nothing "" creative"" about that. an_drunksick

Congratulations, you have to be the most selfish pompous prick in this forum.

With you, it's always "how is this going to affect me?" Instead, you should think of the greater good.

So you'll have to pay a little more for your new KIA.

    Tough shit! new_poop

    @Midnight1

That's the wrong mentality,  but I don't expect you to get it..

You see, wages are a function of a worker's output, and efficiency.  I don't expect you to understand how ( as an example) technology can play an important part in wage increases,.... because that worker is able to get more done per hour w the assistance of a piece of machinery or technology.... Does any of this make any sense to you ??

So, it has nothing to do w being selfish.   People are paid based on their value and output to a company.

Answer me, how have UAW  workers become more " productive " w their  ""new deal "" ?? an_timeout

Enjoy paying more for your electric F150 pickup... electric pickup.. lol.
