I doubt any of any of these keyboard commandos would dare say that garbage to any athlete's face.

How about we just stick to sports betting and not flag waving, respecting, and Trump.  All that garbage is white noise and irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

Trump often attacks everyone and manufactures controversy.  Kneeling during national anthem is optional in NFL and no rule requires players to stand up. 

There is really no disrespect of American flag.  Actually, NFL players are protesting the killing of innocent people by police.  US constitution allows for freedom of protest.

The resettlement of 50,000 Syrian refugees in 2016 without proper screening.is a national security risk. Thousands of Hatian asylum seekers fleeing to the Quebec/New York State Border in 2017 after Trump proposed an end to protected status is another national security risk for Canada. Trudeau has welcome them all in with open arms. I do not have,, that much of a problem with Americans not standing or even sitting during the National anthem....However they should always have their hand over their heart when it's playing..( esp. since it contains the words Land of the Free).

In fact ---(where is djbrow when you need him ?) if you don't have your hand over your heart during the playing of the National anthem you are violation of.... 36 U.S.Code 301 - National anthem ..

(b) Conduct During Playing.—During a rendition of the national anthem—

C) all other persons present should face the flag and stand at attention with their right hand over the heart, and men not in uniform, if applicable, should remove their headdress with their right hand and hold it at the left shoulder, the hand being over the heart; and..

   ......  (2) when the flag is not displayed, all present should face toward the music and act in the same manner they would if the flag were displayed.

In the United States legal code, there are statutes that apply to flag etiquette, the Pledge of Allegiance, and the National Anthem. Currently, these statutes don’t include language that would make it a criminal offense to disobey the guidelines, but the rules are widely followed.

The U.S. Supreme Court in West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette, 319 U.S. 624 (1943) ruled such laws were a violation of the First Amendment of the U.S. constitution. This ruling and others applies to not just the flag, but to the National Anthem and Pledge of Allegiance as well.
