A new poll of historians & scholars coming out
on Presidents’ Day weekend ranks Joe Biden
as the 14th-best president in American history, 
just ahead of Woodrow Wilson, Ronald Reagan
and Ulysses S. Grant.

  The newest survey puts Biden well ahead of Trump,
who places dead last as the worst president ever!   

Joe Biden may, in part, owe his place
in the top third to his GOP predecessor:
Mr. Biden’s signature accomplishment,
according to the historians, was
evicting Trump from the Oval Office!

It's a Los Angeles times article and it's part of the Presidential Greatness Project which is based on a poll of academic scholars who are presidential experts...the article does not specify what it takes to be a presidential expert in this capacity....

The article goes on to state that...

More acutely, this survey has seen a pronounced partisan dynamic emerge, arguably in response to the Trump presidency and the Trumpification of presidential politics.

Proponents of the Biden presidency have strong arguments in their arsenal, but his high placement within the top 15 suggests a powerful anti-Trump factor at work. So far, Biden’s record does not include the military victories or institutional expansion that have typically driven higher rankings, and a family scandal such as the one involving his son Hunter normally diminishes a president’s ranking.

Biden’s most important achievements may be that he rescued the presidency from Trump, resumed a more traditional style of presidential leadership and is gearing up to keep the office out of his predecessor’s hands this fall.

Generally, different polls of presidential experts rank Biden above average and Trump among the worst presidents.  American political science association, C-span, Siena college and US news.  In upcoming election, Biden versus Trump is a choice between order over chaos.  Wisdom over ignorance.  Truth over lie.  Competence over dysfunction.  And virtue over corruption.

KellyM gives this a good thread award! Are you kidding? We all know too, too well the definition of liberalism! It has 2 words. The 1st word begins with an M. The 2nd word begins with a D! It is truly on display inside this thread! We have posters inside the politics section of Covers who enjoy men masquerading among us with a male organ, claim to be a woman and enter NCAA sanctioned swimming events! Not only that. These phony women are allowed to shower with biological women! Only the liberal mind will allow things like that to happen! This is not a good thread!

On the transgender issue...those that have changed/altered their sex should lose their right to participate in sports that are gender specified....that would seem to be common sense and would dilute the purpose of why the sport was separated by gender in the first place....

If transgenders want representation in sports then I would think the only fair thing to do would be to create a category for them, so in a sense you would have men, women and transgender sports teams...not sure why anyone would think that you can place transitional men/women in the same traditional categories when those individuals are no longer traditional in the sense....for fairness and equality, a separate category is the only way to go...you shouldn't be allowed to change your sex and then compete in the category your transitioned to....men changing or transitioning to women would have distinct advantage still regardless of how much you strip from the inside...they are still men inside with how their bodies are made up and you can see how this has already played out in college sports..

create your own league separate from men and women and you rid yourself of any issues...

and in there scroll down past the graph to TABLE #2 and you will see right at the bottom where republicans rank trump

There are other threads about best president, not sure why this is needed but that aside if a member does not like a thread or a post it does not mean that you come in and be combative to the poster or complain about partisan nonsense. 

Both groups here need to do better about keeping the guidelines and adding value, and avoiding combative crap.

it is clear the independents r siding with the dems that trump is ranked indisputably last of all presidents  

just as intresting is how low down even the republicans r ranking their indicted crime lord leader

 Those headlines seem to be everywhere.  I think most of us already knew Trump is ranked last and most likely will keep that title for several decades if not longer.  Still it's nice to get the confirmation and to see Biden get some acknowledgement for earning a place in the top half of the rankings
