I heard this $700,000 difference claimed about military planes vs chartered commercial airlines. It just doesn't add up because we own the aircraft. So there's fuel, a pilot or two, flight crew, security personnel and a nurse onboard. On the military flight the military owns the pilots and the flight crews, they are the security, and they also have military nurses. All of those salaries cannot equal 700k. Unless you figure how much government agencies charge each other is the only way this bill can add up? Kinda of like when the government pays contractors triple or quadruple the rate of doing 'business'
