She got hammered by Cruz. No surprise that the Left spins it.

She didn't even know what 8 U.S. Code 1182 was? Obama used it too. So did Carter with the Iranians. Good grief, she should never have been employed by the DOJ!! The Dems. approved it and passed it in 1952.

Yates is a washed up has been. She should be disbarred and certainly never work in government again.

I started watching the testimony and thought Bruce/Caitlyn  Jenner got it's hair cut for a second!! .... I didn't realize that was Sally Yates at first..

How Ted Cruz can show his face after losing to Trump is beyond me...   Guy should move to the mountains and never be heard from again

There is the OMNIPRESENCE of OBAMA lurking behind the scenes in all of these first days.

Obama knows that Trump sees him as pro Islamic, someone hell bent on usuring and speeding up a complete overhaul of US demographics, and to end the HUMANISM of western Europe with "global relativism."

Obama was therefore signalling Yates to disobey the Muslim ban.

IMAGINE for a moment you're the outgoing Pres, and you were the first to normalize relations with Iran, you welcomed Muslim refugees and encouraged and obliged other nations (esp Germany) to take in Muslims; you NEVER called terrorists "radical islamic terrorists," and referred to them as "lone nuts" and not part of the mainstream Islam "religion." And you see Trump DESTROYING EVERYTHING you fought for during the past 8 years of your roller coaster ride of fame. OF COURSE, you will pressure all of your hidden DEEP STATE trolls to actively DEFY the new Pres, and you will PERSONALLY go to HAWAII and ask a personal friend JUDGE to overturn the Muslim ban on grounds that it discriminates an entire religion (even though it was for severly inept, insecure rogue states with NO SECURITY, passport measures).

This is Obama vs Trump, not versus Hillary anymore.

What is so wonderful is to see Trump undoing ALL OF Obama's "Islamic love," immigrant courting, BLM embracing, and all social justice (anti white basically). 

This is BEAUTIFUL.






i have one comment and one question.  the comment is that this is a ridiculous statement and completely ignorant of the job of a prosecutor:

you "conservatives" who worship government when it suits your agenda don't realize that government employees have a lot of power over people lives, perhaps most of all prosecutors so they need to be sure they do not do anything that violates the laws or constitutions and if that is a likelihood, they need to reign in that power.  therefore, prosecutors have to interpret the laws and constitution all of the time.

now, for the question, do you go into your muslim rant this often in real life.  "i'll have a turkey sandwich with a side of fries, oh, and did you know that obama is a secret muslim who is trying to destroy our country and make everyone bow down to mecca 10 times a day?"

"Give me $110 on number 276, $220 on number 498, $440 on number number 759 and before i tell you my last bet, did you know that the iran deal signed by all of the world powers is just a ploy by liberals to make islam the dominant religion in the world and we're all going to die?"

i ridiculed your obsession with islam.  i'm not even sure obsession is a strong enough word.  and i used quotation marks when referring to you guys as conservatives because you, like most republicans, are anything but that.  being scared of every brown person on the planet, people with different religions from you and trying to get big government to appease your irrational fears may be the alabama way, but it ain't conservative.

You are sorely mistaken to call it an obsession with Islam. It is an obsession with rational thinking and common sense. Ask Bill Maher.

It goes against most of liberal philosophy. You rail against most other religions here yet give a free pass that openly oppress women and person and others.

Christians have moved on from the crusades from 400 years ago. There is one religion that hasn't...care to guess which one that is?

yes, it's an obsession and irrational fear.  it's embarrassing that you are afraid of these people and saban brings it up so much in so many different discussions. 

let me help you.  this is a gambling site after all.  you should have some basic understanding of probability and statistics, even if you are a republican. 

i assume you live in america.  if so, here are the things you should be worried about, if you wnt to be scared all of the time.  you'll find that brown people are not on the list.  being scared of every brown person, muslim and your own shadow is no way to go through life, son.

I understand probability better than you think.

I've studied probability while at the same time observing countries that have allowed large numbers of refugees into their countries not unlike  France, Germany, Sweden, Italy and others.

The probability of rape, murder, assault, sexual assault involving children all went up. Thank you for bringing up the subject of probability.

France....have you ever heard of a no go zone? Do you believe the term is a myth, fairy tale?

If we allow refugees, how are they going to pay for themselves long term? What is your plan for that?

i'm not sure i do.  what numbers do democrats want?  fox news said a few trillion, right? yeah, that's a lot.

as to you second comment.  again, a lot of this ignorance can be avoided by simply turning off fox news.  the number one country with the most refugees coming to the US is the congo.  but yeah, that country mostly practices that weird religion christianity. 

also, of the top five largest muslim countries, none of them are in the top 10 of most refugees coming to the united states.


again, less fox news, more probability and statistics.  fewer republican lies, more fruits and vegetables.

It's the "whatever else" that I worry about.  You think we (the deplorables) have an irrational fear about people who shout "DEATH TO AMERICA"!!!???  Do you lock your doors at night?  What are the odds of someone tying you up and raping your wife?  When you stop locking your doors then we can stop vetting refugees.

balph, remember when we talked about statistics as opposed to irrational fear. it's only a couple of posts before yours.  take a look.   

looks like the last year this was documented by the DOJ, there were about 3.4 million home burglaries that year in the US.  and that doesn't include lesser crimes like trespass that would add to the number of unwanted people in or on your property. 

how many incidents of scary muslims going boo in the night were there that year in the U.S.?  about 3.4 million fewer. 

the answer to you guys being scared of everything and your shadows is in the probability and statistics.  and i'm here to help you learn and understand.  life is much better when you aren't scared of everything, particularly things that are no threat to you, statistically.
